I have $15,000 To invest, which Altcoin should i invest in ?

Hold on investing in decentralized currencies until some solid announcements from the US government.

Focus more on not losing money than profit. Profit will come if capital will be intact.

As of now my two choices:

1. XRP (ripple)
2. XNF (NoFiatCoin)

Already regretting selling DOGE yesterday at 212satoshi - now it's knocking on 300. That was quick. Would have been a major play when the OP posted. Wonder if he listened to any of the suggestions?

Only speculating but we are seeing a downtrend similar to june last year after the big rise in april 2013, could be looking at $550 btc or lower beginning early march with all alts crashing as well.

This trend did the same in October of 2012 after a big rise in August

Smart advice (assuming your power costs are low).

Buying and holding altcoins is not a good strategy in a bear market.

$500 on CGB gets you about .1% of overall as a long term. I would also suggest some DOGE, LTC, PPC, XPM, NMC, WDC and DGC. The rest hold BTC. Do check out Ethereum when it launches. You can make a good profit short term with some p and d scams, but you can also lose all there. I prefer the safe route with a little patience. Good luck!
