http://crypto-coins-table.com Hi, this site is closed since 2015. I'm working an smart contracts now. Especially on Stellar Lumens. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check my affiliate programm: http://crypto-coins-table.com/p_affiliates.php and earn some BTC for each unique user coming from your link. Purpose of the page
- general overview of crypto currencies by market capitalisation - collection of coin links (foundation, code, wallet, exchanges, ...) - displays top and flop values on separate table - displays new coins added on the exchange markets Features- New webform for submitting and updating coins - create personal coin lists and share it with a weblink sample: http://www.crypto-coins-table.com/?wl=lz2FBAGV- BTC can be choosen as a currency base - filter functions: Top 100, New 7 Days, New 30 Days, Capitalisation > 0, Capitalisation > 1 Mio $, Capitalisation < 1 Mio $, Scrypt-Coins, SSH-Coins - sort functions: Capitalisation Position, Mining %, Value, Volume 24h, Price change 24h, 7d, 30d - intuitive colored value change - update every 10 minutes - you can exclude scam coins from the listings Feedback / Suggestions- let me know, if any information is wrong or missleading Planned Features- add more exchange platforms - add mining difficulty - email alert service Change History- 2014-06-09: Add user coins and track your profit - 2014-03-24: New webform for submitting and updating coins - 2014-03-23: exclude spam coins - 2014-03-12: introduces watchlists and user registration - 2014-03-02: new exchange cryptorush integrated on site, 40 more coins available now - 2014-02-26 - BTC can now be choosen as a currency base, so the change in relation to BTC can be tracked better - New Filters: CAP > 0, New coins within last 30 days - number of found coins (depending on filter) is shown on top left - 2014-02-24: update on charts - 24 Price Value: now with chart - 7 days Price Value: chart is now more detailed - if the time range is not completely covered for a chart, now the time range is displayed in brakets below -> like: "(5d)", if the data is only for 5 of 7 days available -> if you move over the number, you can see the exact date range - 2014-02-22: added mining filter - 2014-02-21: changed the colorcode - 2014-02-20: in top/flop tables - only display coins with known capitalisation

Hi, for me there are this points to check: 1) check new coins (left top table), see what type and if interesting I buy -> I also use the coin filter "NEw 7 days" to see all new coins 2) see whats going on with all other coins by checking the colors in the table -> click on 1 Day col to see who is top performing aso. 3) I also check the mining percentage, to see if a coin gets close to 100% mining -> click on col mining to sort the list. If you have further questions let me know. best, Hans

Really nice.
Could you add BTC to the currency selection - I'd really like to be able to see which alt coins are moving against BTC, not against fiat.

If you added a column for the amount premined and instamined with every coin, that might help folks steer clear of the pump and dump coins. Unfortunately, that would be 95% of all the coins listed.

Nice site!
Some feature request ideas....
Sub Coin Pages - Adding sub pages for each coin would be a great feature where people can learn about coins launch date, unique qualities, developers, internet trends, tweets, mine volume charts, etc.
Coin Ratings - Certain elements of each coin can be used to calculate a rating which help both miners and investors target coins with unique features, popularity, and future development. Stopping the pumping/dumping of crap clone coins will bring some fresh air to the crypto alt scene.

in top/flop tables - from now on only coins with known capitalisation are displayed. The small coins are super instable. I would be really great if you had multiple filters, e.g. for
- capitalization range - date of introduction - (recent) volume - proof-of-work etc.
so that you can combine filters arbitrarily.
Hi, thanks for feedback + ideas. Yes it would be good to have more filters. I might do a poll on the page to see what users want most. rs

Review and feature requests: Today I found your site and see it much ahead of the others. I would though wish to see some more functionality: - favicon
- the green "i" next to "Pos." totally confused me. Please add some tooltip as getting a full page refresh with a prominent donation address after the list getting redrawn for a split second (the sort by pos triggers as well) looks like a pay wall at first
- the tooltips in the charts are a great feature but the 7 days chart snapping in at 9 positions doesn't compute to actual dates easily. Please either show a timestamp as well, or make it snap to exactly 7 positions. Apparently this tooltip doesn't show always?
- seeing coins having lost(/gained) position due to coins being added(/removed?) is confusing at first. Maybe the list should claim the new entering coin had been in this position since 30 days and not make all coins below red as they did not actually slip down but never were that far up due to missing information. I guess new coins massively being added will be a trend for at least another year.
- Your mined %% chart is totally killer! Love it. Please add some more granularity to it. For me there is not just premine and acutal mining but a whole scale in between. A coin that is mined to 100% in 6 months is a straw fire coin to me (if equal to bitcoin otherwise) as it incentivizes mining "before it's too late". Please add either some time scale for the 5%, 10%, 20%, 50% mining points or show the projected %% charts for today, in 30 days, 1 year, 5 years.
- The hover cursor changes to text marker when sorting the list and to arrow when hovering over those tiny little triangles, implying that sorting only works if you hit those 3px by 3px icons.
TIL: Peercoin was only "mined" to 1%??? With pure PoS coins this %% is misleading in a way isn't it? Sure it is complicated to compile such a list without misrepresenting stuff (Oh my god I see this is not trivial. So my current suspicion is that Peercoin as good as I thought it was (not owning any alt-coin at all) has a slight flaw in that the stake mining potential makes one coin more valuable than another and some early adopters keep their old coins to mine later as having less coins in existance boosts the value of the coins? This is partially a conclusion from seeing that peercoin mines sometimes less than one coins and sometimes 104 coins in one block.) Edit: Some tooltips are tooltips, others look like overlib tooltips. You have nice icons "new" and "30" but don't explain them in the tooltip.

Thanks to Giszmo for his detailed feedback, I will check it in detail.
For now I have update on (some points from Giszmo already realized):
- 24 Price Value: now with chart - 7 days Price Value: chart is now more detailed - if the time range is not completely covered for a chart, the time range is displyed in brakets -> like: "(5d)", if the data is only for 5 of 7 days available -> if you move over the number, you can see the exact date range

The other threads with a similar focus here contain mostly noise of 10-100 people requesting for their fav coin to be added each. I suggest you moderate away all this noise as it's not about your list but about having this particular coin being promoted through this thread and your service. Ask them to send PMs or better to fork your list of coins on github, add their coin and make a pull request. This could be just a folder of files that follow a certain format like it is done for bitcoin events or for prism break

Instead of always showing total coins, it seems preferable to show how many coins result from the filter selection, i.e. the size of the shown table (without having to scroll to the bottom).
true, will change that

Hi, I got some new updates:
- BTC can now be choosen as a currency base, so the change in relation to BTC can be tracked better
- New Filters: CAP > 0, New coins within last 30 days
- number of found coins (depending on filter) is shown on top left

(3 short lines for each coin) Similiar what you find in https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=134179.0but an updated version and also new coins. Anybody can help me with creating this list? An excel list could be the starter and then I integrate it on the webpage. best

Define some machine readable format and you will get pull requests for all coins in no time. Name = Bitcoin Exchanges = [bitstamp](http...) [...](...) ... Features = [PoW](...) SHA256 "Satoshi Nakamoto" Tickerscript = var bla=...; ... Of course you would have to investigate the pull requests but the coin fans would provide all this for free and would most likely help to the point that you only need to accept pull requests to get whole new coins.

Hi Giszmo, most things you mention above are done meanwhile. I had some serious difficulties to get more stability in all numbers, as the resources coming from the exchanges are not always reliable. I hope all the charts benefit from the special data checks I integrated. Regarding the mined/premined features. Yes true, but many coins have different mining strategies, I don't see a easy way to keep track of more details. best

Specification of coin: 4 minute blocks, gravity well, 20,000 ULT per block, scrypt 7. Description and background: It is a electronic proof of computer work system. 8. What is special or different to other coins?: The coin has a bank which has capital of 900 Million ULT. This Bank will use these funds to pay interest on people's ULT deposits. It operates to provide a time preference system, usually when a large number of coins come on to the market when a coin is first being mined, the only place generally they go is to an exchange, with the deposit system, the coins will be kept off the markets and the supply lowered while they are in deposits, hence demand will be higher. Also UltimateCoin has an award system for other coins with merit, all they have to do is apply and the awards will be reviewed and issued. Speed up the process To speed up the integration of your coin on my webpage, you can donate some coins. Use the wallet addresses at the donation section or let me know which coin you want to donate. I will install the wallet. Especially to implement the API for current number of mined coins needs to be done for each coin. Without this value I can't calculate the capitalisation and your coin will not show up in the upper part of the list. I can donate Moon, Doge, Bella or Ultimate, please name your preference.

Please add a chart containing the side by side market cap of several (or all) coins on a log scale. I would so much love to see the "typical" life cycle of these crap coins but in the list as is, it is just a snapshot with little context and when they die, they are way down the list.
I would expect to see some dominant bitcoin of course and many coins coming and going with their all time highs long in the past.

Congratulations to your super-useful site. Helps a lot to see through the chaos. I am wondering if you could somehow include a user specific ignore list. Coins that I decide to be ignored, are not shown again, not in the list, not in statistics. Look at your current high score list: Top / Flop 24 Hours (BTC) 1. Magic Int. +29900 % 2. MCR +2800 % 3. Continuum. +1250 %
1st a coin without any buy orders. Ignore! 2nd is a coin with a spread of 1300 to 29000 between sell and buy offers. Ignore? 3rd a coin without any buy orders. Ignore! At the moment it's too easy to manipulate a dead coin into your top3 list, especially at cryptorush. C.R. does not sell for the cheapest available price first, it's a very sick system. Too easy to manipulate the last price paid. Be careful with including C.R. data, cryptorush actually fucks up the usefulness of YOUR site, too. Have a look yourself: The lowest price for continuum is 1 Satoshi, but the last price paid is 20 Satoshi. An exchange software programmed by a noob, I guess. It would help me, if I can have a look at a coin, study it a bit, then ignore it forever, or keep it in my list of perhaps-some-day-interesting coins.

Hi drakoin, thanks for the detailed feedback, helps me a lot. 1) ignore list, yes thats a goood idea. Also I could add a spam-rating , which indicates how many users think this coin is a spam or lets say gives negative rating. 2) regarding the pricing %. Yes its tricky, I already have some rules integrated to avoid fake numbers. Regarding the numbers from exchanges, I get the last trade done. So this should be fine. So buy and sell offers are not included. 3) Continuum coin: yes I just checked this case, it really is strange. If I have more cases like this I need to exclude exchanges with strange numbers. I noticed with very small volume trades, prices are tricky. I already thought about to exclude prices under a certain volume. That might help. Regarding the ignore list, I see how much work it will be. I like the idea :-) best PS: as always, any marketing of the site is appreciated

It's cryptorush's strange "concept". It seems to trade for the exact price offerered, not summing up the order book beginning from the cheapest / most expensive. In the example, there was no buy offer in the order book, there were sell offers for a price of 1 Satoshi, 2 Satoshi, 3 Satoshi ,... all the way up. And then a trade happened for a price of 20 Satoshi. That got reported as last trade. Bam, 2000%. Top 3 on your site. Manipulation, or a typo of a stoned trader. Perhaps they have changed that by now, but that's how it went last time I checked. You can simply try it out. Buy some small amount of useless coin, that no one else is trading, for any fantasy price for which a sell offer is in the order book.

Most exchanges give the whole orderbook by API.
You could write a routine that checks if the last trade happened near the lowest price of the sell order book, or near the highest price of the buy order book.
And if that is not the case ... what to do?
Drop the coin from your list - but then coins can be manipulated out of sight. Sabotage.
Instead of the last trade you can report the middle of the spread between sell and buy, but that can be manipulated, too.
You could drop cryptorush altogether, because they allow for such manipulation - but then many coins would be gone from your radar.
the best would actually be, if someone gets through to the cryptorush programmer, and teaches him how to implement an order book properly.

Excellent suggestion! I second this. We want the equivalent of "Mark as spam" :-) +1

Congratulations to your super-useful site. Helps a lot to see through the chaos.

Can you add in the total circulation as well, if known? BTC 21M, LTC 84M, AUR 10.5M, CAT 21M, etc...
I think that would be a great way to reference the eventual Supply line and you almost have it already. No one else seems to have this info at a quick glance.
A big thanks if you can!
PS Love your site, i frequent it every day.

Hi OrlandoTodd, thanks for your feedback :-) Regarding the total circulation: if you move the mouse over the mined-chart-pie you see the coins mined already and still open. You would like to see the total number right? Or would you like to have another chart? best

Thanks a million! Your site together with coinfinance.com/portfolio are the two essential overview sites for me. (And I am always happy to add a third one to the mix, if anyone finds something new, please alert me. Thx!)
A thought for you: On CryptoRush slowly but surely all coins' prices are blown up out of proportion, because people are willing to loose 50%, if they can only get their money out. Looking at my coins at crypto-coins-table.com, I think: Oh wow, I could sell this - but then I see, the price is only that good at cryptorush. And I am happy to have most of my stuff out of there, cryptorush is out of bounds for me right now.
I guess where you have coins traded in several exchanges, you always choose the exchange with the highest buy offer, or highest last trade, right?
Until cryptorush recovers (i.e. all wallets are refilled so that withdrawing in any currency is working again), it would make sense for crypto-coins-table.com to either switch off cryptorush completely, or to give us the option to switch off and on each exchange selectively.
Thanks for considering. Keep up the good work.

Feature Request:
Please allow me to sort coins by maxMarketCap/marketCap, aka the highest fall. Not only would it then be possible to find failed coins but also would it be possible to compare succeeding ones. Which one is more sensitive to a general skepticism in crypto currencies after a political event for example.

Feature request: explain on the site what the columns are. Some tooltip or something. I can sort by "Mined / Volume"? Will it sort by mined? Or by Volume? Would it sort by the mined units or mined percentage or all-time/24h/30d-volume? How does "Pos" come to its value? What would it sort by when I sort by those 4 charts? Closing value? Opening minus closing value? Average? I can answer many of these questions myself and you find it most likely evident how all these things are meant but I'm sure many people take longer than their patience span to figure these out. I love WTF?-buttons

yep, I hopefully find time soon. Please help promoting the site, so I can keep it running and add features, so far I had more expenses than earnings. You picked one labor intensive project there and if code tends to rot, data rots 100 times faster and your project is 90% data. That's a bit sad if you plan to retire on it but I'm sure you got the attention you deserve and there are tons of open doors for you now that were not there before. So please don't whine about a lack of donations. Your earnings might not immediately compensate your investment of time and money and maybe not even your running costs but that doesn't mean it wasn't a huge success. In my books you have the best such site by now and there is no lack of trying from other parties. Edit: adding you to my sig now …

I have difficulties to find those coins that once were notable but failed later and care little about the new coins.

Hi, yes sounds good. I plan some general rework of the site, so this might be included. For now you can choose the filter: Older than 5 month and save the list as a watchlist like this one: http://crypto-coins-table.com/?wl=lYjIHqW4then you can set additional filters as you like. e.g. Trading Volume > 10 BTC, then you have the old coins still active. This is 26 coins right now. regards

Wow...really cool. Great work! Thank you for sharing!
Obviously this is a ton of work. Everybody probably has a slightly different desire for functionality and it's impossible to incorporate all of them. For my specific use, one of the things that I'd like to see would be the raw volume data for each coin, both 24 hours and 30 days, right on the main table page. I can get the 24 hour volume percentage change, which is helpful, but to get the raw data takes a lot of clicking, and I can't JUST rank by volume (from what I can tell), only volume CHANGE.
The other thing that might be helpful would be the ability to select more than one of the conditions, say, volume > 10BTC AND Older than 1 month.
Sweet work, though!

I'm still waiting for a way to find dying/dead coins that once were relevant-ish. Some way to sort by maxMarketCap/marketCap.
Also it seams you show the chart for the time you recorded the date, only. Can you extend that chart beyond this to when the coin started, even if you have no data for that range? Scrolling through coins and comparing them and having all on different time scales is confusing. I would like to be able to open some tabs with some coins and put all to 1 year and scroll through to compare how they behaved over that one year regardless of their respective age or time being added to the site. Having a marker of the coins inception would make sense of course.
