Nope I don’t think it will surpass bitcoin yet by 2019. Ethereum is a great coin but it still has a little ng way to go before it can even surpass bitcoin and its transactions now are slowly becoming decongested because of these ICO’s in ethereum blockchain. But maybe in the next 5 years it could though.

WIll ETH pass BTC in 2019 ?
To be king in all altcoins, then I think they already enjoying it but to overrun bitcoin in the coming years , it is possible to be impossible. |

Nope. I do believe that ETH will be able to get over BTC in the future but I don't think that chance will come too early like that when BTC price is still much higher than ETH and BTC is still the king and affect to all other cryptocurrencies price on crypto market like at the moment  . There are about 5 months left till 2019 and I don't think ETH will be able to do that |

Never it will happen that other coin will surpass the Bitcoin price. And, in 2019 how it happens. If Ethereum goes up then why not the Bitcoin as Bitcoin is always a market leader and the blockchain idea has come here.

There are possibilities that ETH could surpass BTC but it would take time not only for 2-3 years maybe after 5-10 years because there's a lot of new people still new to crypto and they only knew that BTC is the King but once all of them know that fundamentals of ETH for sure that's the time for ETH to become the King.
From my perception i can't happen today or tomorrow because BTC is the king of crypto currency but obviously ETH is good alts coin in crypto market and it have good project for future and i think it will reach High value but it can't bit BTC at this moment. |

I don't think so. Need more than 5 years to be happen (just thought maybe happen with very small possibilities). Currently, the bitcoin price still too high compared with ETH. If we are talking about probability, I prefer other altcoin maybe surprised to pass ETH, but not in 2019, maybe several years after 2019.

No, I dont think so. although ETH has a big development recently but Bitcoin is still the best coin in the world. And one thing you should remember, dont focus on the price too much. Because each coin has own purpose.

Fortunately for us it is not going to happen, those that want bitcoin to be replaced by another coin are not realizing what they are asking, if bitcoin were to fall from the top spot and another coin began to take a substantial amount of its market cap the whole market will get destabilized and there is no way to know what will happen in such an scenario. |

2019 no chance that ETH can surpass the btc in value terms. May be demand wise ETh may have better as price is far low than bct but price of king will always be on top in years to come for some time atleast unless we see some major revolution happening. |

This will not happen either in 2019 or in any other year. I'm fully confident that bitcoin will remain the king among the crypto currency and no one will be able to dislodge it. Most countries in the world have taken bitcoin and this gives hope that he will remain a leader forever.

I dont believe this will happen, bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency. From starting itself bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency. Years are passed but still bitcoin is in the first position. Ethereum is also very high potential and promising coin, but it will not pass bitcoin in 2019. Not only in 2019 never it will not overtake bitcoin. If we see individuallay ethereum is one of the best coin but compare with bitcoin, bitcoin has more power than Ethereum.

It's ridiculous to overtake BTC in 2019. The exchange rate of the BTC is over $ 6000 while the ETH exchange rate is over $ 400. In 2019, if ETH surpasses the BTC, it is likely to exceed the demand of the investor and the market cap. It is impossible for ETH to pass the BTC, at least for the next 5 years.

Bitcoin is the first coin and is now the benchmark for all coins so I think it is very difficult to beat, I see the volume of Bitcoin trading in the market is still very high and now Bitcoin price is still very high so I think in 2019 Bitcoin will still lead.

Bitcoin will remain on the top. I think for now, no altcoin can surpass all the achievements and progress bitcoin have done. As you can see, ethereum network is having a lot of network traffic and it sometimes takes a lot of time for the system to sync. This needs to be fixed because the transaction price is too high. |

No. Because as you can see the different of their price is so far so it's hard to say eth will pass the bitcoin. And you know that eth is relying to bitcoin price so if bitcoin is down eth will down too. |

I don't really think that ETH has the chance of passing BITCOIN by next year. Looking at its market capitalization tells me how big the gap between these two crypto giants. They're both dominant too and their demand is almost relatively high so no way that ETH can pass BTC in 2019.

yes, I agree with you in 2019 I think Bitcoin will still lead the market, Bitcoin prices are high enough so Ethereum still has to take a very long time to beat Bitcoin maybe 5 to 10 years into the future. |
