But you also need to take into account that ethereal is more economically beneficial and more in demand for use. i agree with that and with the new ethereum 2.0 if im not mistaken to be in progress its utility will be more and more known, with its compentency in ripple well its like ethereum is moving forward and these both two top coins is aiming higher while there is more adavnatage on etehereum than ripple because of its known pump and dump price of xrp. Who knows maybe on the next years theres a coin in top even just a snap to place at the top. |

In 2019, it is possible. I guess that the price of Ethereum can reach even 1.5 thousand dollars or even more. Thus, we all have to hurry to buy more ETH tokens now. |

So one thing is predictions, and another is real facts. ETH been dropping from top 2 spot since its price drop but manages to get back on its spot. Not that its impossible to happen in BTC but we can't really tell as long as ETH find its way to have more pump and pass all the achievements that BTC been done in the past. It will be a long run thou. |

It will be a long run thou. Question is will this ever happen, even in 10 years or more. Ethereum is a great platform but they need a lot of improving to pass bitcoin in price and popularity. I cant say it will never happen, nobody cant claim anything here in crypto world, ethereum is going good I think in this past years, it will be even greater in future I believe, but its still far behind bitcoin in many ways. Ethereum can make miracles with their platform, but there are other platforms, they will need to fight they way trough, I have some just in case, good luck my friends. |

In my opinion, the ethereum will pass the btc, because the bitcoin just lost his power in market. It was a top coin for many times. 2019 will change the king, and it will be eth.

It is impossible to cross the value of Btc because Bitcoin is a dominant currency which ETH cannot able to reach the value of Bitcoin. ETH is kept declining because of some fake projects launching on this blockchain which makes decrease the value. ETH development team should come up the different solution in order to control fake projects.

It is not possible in this life. Just think about total supply of both coins. BTC total supply has limit at 16m coins, ethereum has around 100m. Price of Eth should be at least 5 time higher to start approaching the BTC.

I doubt it will ever happen. There are more chances of some other coin surpassing ETH than ETH or any other one surpassing BTC. XRP surpassed ETH for a day two weeks ago so that can happen again.

Even if ethereum is one of the better coin in the market. It cannot surpass the price of bitcoin in 2019. Bitcoin will still the no.1 crypto in the market. But who knows? There is still a possibility. So lets wait.

The ether needs to solve other problems now, and not how to catch up and overtake bitcoin. There are a lot of competitors who can overthrow the coin slowing down its development and come out only at the ico of using it. |

until now I know eth is a good coin to be used as an investment tool. eth deficiency is only from the age factor that is still very young when compared to other coins like xrp, ltc, dash etc. We can only wait as time goes by to decide whether eth is appropriate or not when used as a longterm
