Nobody knows what will happen, but the general consensus here is that Bitcoin still has more room to move further down. Some TA and historical analysis point towards the price moving down to the $5k range. Of course, everyone hopes that Bitcoin will rise up and moon (again), however as of right now, things do look pretty bearish. My 2 satoshis are that we will drop to around $5200 - $4700 then the market will start its reversal. We could see a gradual rise back up to $15k and then moon to $50k+ by end of 2019/2020. That's what the logarithmic chart points too and that's what everyone is hoping for

The general market direction will be down for the near term. We may get a relief rally in the next month or so but it will likely be short lived. And we probably won't get over $10k.

My best guess is that we will be seeing a lot of sideways action in the $3k - $5k range for a long time, possibly years.

And I agree with  BitcoinNewbie15 that the next major rally is most likely in 2019/20.

It seems a good part of the crypto community is expecting that price will drop even lower than it is these days, which is certainly possible if we look at it at this point. Everyone is expecting some big positive news that will kick market and give bulls power, but this time of the year is usually never been good for some positive movements. My assumption is that nothing will significantly change in next 2-3 months, but all possible factors should always be taken into account when it comes to BTC.

Just imagine hack of one exchange from top 5, something that no one can predict, but it would have a powerful negative impact on the price long time after it happened. Ghosts of Mt.Gox are still present after 4 years...

My take on btc price - sideways for this month and next. Probably will be seeing an increase in price towards end of July.

Not only legendaries,even no one could predict bitcoin price exactly.Just before five days,it was predicted that big whales have started to rebuy bitcoins and so bitcoin would be traveling in bullish trend.But now everything seems to happen totally opposite to that prediction and bitcoin price has started to fall.A nd now recovering a little bit.I think that this non predictive quality of bitcoin is also a strong reason for its sustainability.

Surprised to see there's not much moon talk, but I believe it's the right time we will be mooning back towards $15k once again this year. I think that the first half of 2018 was made bearish with an intention to let institutions inject their money at lowest prices possible. But now, it won't remain the same and they'll start buying back with a very big volume that none of the small (snail) traders would be able to even think of buying 1 whole BTC. I think that bitcoin has already reached its bottom for this year and it won't go down any further than this. Take my advice with a grain of salt and DOYR.

Wise answer? You will just a get random answers here even with good analyzation and support that will make you more confuse. Keep in mind that your question doesn't have a closed answer even that is only a prediction.

You have lots of reasons to believed that bitcoin price will take again another journey to the moon but for "when" it is, no one knows.

Just trust the process.

the "wise answer" is that nobody knows.

all we know now is that we are on a downtrend and price will continue going down until it reaches a bottom where it can no longer break. by that time we will see an extreme surge of FUD about bitcoin and how it is dead. then price will reverse upwards and as the confidence comes back we can see the bull run start.

this can take a short time like 1 months or it can last for a year. again we don't know that either. at this point it is unpredictable. you can make a lot of guesses though and they may come true too but it is a "guess" still.

Legendary as in terms of rank ? Come on mate..
Legendary members are not gods and none of us can see the future or predict how things would be like in coming days. We only have the chart and analysis to help us see if it is safe to enter a trade or if it is best to exit a trade and until then, nothing is guaranteed.

I hope though that we can see a short reversal from current levels, but nothing is certain except for us to wait for how that support will play out, otherwise all we will just be doing is gamble all the way while missing a good chance or possibly end up panicking for someone who may not know what move to make from there.

A lot of people are expecting lower prices, but we MAY have bottomed already, this may lead in a cascade of FOMOs as people slowly realize the bottom was set in a while ago. This is very common, bottoms are very hard to call, sometimes they happen and most people stay on denial that it happened, they keep waiting for what in their minds should be the bottom, which never arrives. Eventually and exponentially they end up buying again and we go to ATH.

Latest developments in the bid sum / ask sum on major exchanges support a bullish development, at least short term.
Also there is a possibility to form bullish double bottoms in 12h, 24h and 3D MACD, with respect to the April lows.
However, even if these bullish developments become real, the following rally could turn out to be a wave B.

Well you dont have to wait for July because price i pumping now but i doubt that this will continue since for how many times this trend happened,pump and dump scenarios in which suspected that manipulated by whales or other big groups that holding high volume of bitcoins

You shouldn’t trust or trade based on what Legendary members say, many of us know no more than a Noob when predicting specific times of price breakouts.

Your safest bet is to HODL until after the next halving (approx May 2020). Again only my opinion,  believe that we will see 1 bitcoin at a value of over $50,000 then.

Do your own research though & don’t trade based on what anybody else says. We’ve been in a bear market for around 6 months now, many people are predicting lower prices. If you can HODL for a few years though then now is a cheap time to buy & you’ll almost certainly get good profits if you buy now & wait a few years.

Well It is starting today! +540 % I can’t be sure for its consistency, but good enough in my eyes.

I’m not legendary as a bitcointalk member, but I am as a patiently crypto man who takes negativity news into a positive sets of possibilities.

It’s isn't predictable, but it can be detected and be known at time when it does happen and I hope this is that day.

Not legendary, but you're going to get burned badly if you assume that all, or even most legendaries around are completely knowledgeable. Experience is not that big of a factor for precise, short-term predictions either.

But yeah, short-term predictions are just guesses for the most part, so you know just about as much as everyone else in this case. You can look at trends, but even they barely matter majority of the time.

Even if Im not a legendary I still want to chime in and predict that the coin will have a value of 7,000 before it sees 5,000 again.
