If it is still profitable at the price you want to sell, then sell. I wont expect anyone who bought at $20k to consider selling now irrespective of his need, It will be unwise doing such. It is guaranteed that the price will climb some day but no one can predict when.

I bought some bitcoin in March 2017, sell half of it in Dec 2017 and hodl the other half since then. The current downward trend seem to last for a very long time and I'm quite upset about it. What do you guys think? Should I hodl or sell all my BTC now?
Unfortunately no one can give you a definite answer! It really depends on your situation. If you need money urgently for family needs etc. You will need to decide. BTC price will fall down even lower before it goes up again! If you don't need money urgently now then just HODL! Of course it depends on the financial situation but I think you should invest your extra money in bitcoin and not your regular income. Bitcoin is not for daily earnings but investment is for future planning and you should hold your coins for some more time and when the price raise again then you can sell them for higher price. be cool for some more time. But I think this would be the perfect period to hodl bitcoin because the value has drastically dropped down and we know for a fact that it's going to go through bull market from the end of August. Hence I would suggest to hodl. |

yes of course it does not matter if you hold the bitcoin you own it depends on the person himself, if the person is not really need money then you better hold bitcoin much longer.

There is nothing to be regretted, anyhow everything is really to be faced in spite of a lot of certain risks, it's not over yet.. we are here essentially can be able to withhold patience and keep doing some other things to cover it up or while holding it. Think about whether bitcoin does not have a good future? I think it will be better and become more popular that surrounded by many people.

Do not get annoyed with the current setback, be patient and wait a little longer, you will definitely get a better price with your patience. |

Yes continue to hold bitcoin by the end of this year will be more helpful in future. Still market is not recover, two days before the price starts to increase very little but it will not continue. Again the price starts to decrease if you sell at this situation, it will leads to a great loss. So dont get panic about current situation, just hold the bitcoin for some more months. Surely the price will increase in near future at that time you can sell and gain more money from bitcoin.

And why should you not continue to HODL your bitcoin? The question is; do you believe in bitcoin in the first place? If you believed in bitcoin, you would not have had asked that question. And if you want my opinion, yes you should. As a matter of fact, we do not know whether or not bitcoin will rise. But you should believe in it because the price will certainly grow in a just matter of time. Never stop believing in the coin you have bought. Otherwise you will lose patience and sell it.

Well you do not have a choice , because if you sell your bitcoin now your money will gone but if you decided to hold it this i sone of the best way to get back your money and get some profit if Im here in your situation I have extra money I will invest more because i believe to bitcoin will recover.

I will never ask to sell when the market is down . I would rather ask to buy it as it is a golden opportunity for all the seekers . Bitcoin will rise again and it will be witnessed by all of us including those who have give up on it . It is totally agreeable that the trends have been very dis heartening but everybody is just waiting for the winter bonanza. |

Bitcoin is a long term relationship platform so holding is the right direction in this scenario. Because lot of investors are panic to selling in current scenario so some drop is happening in crypto market but this will going to moon. All the peoples are buy more bitcoin in this dip so holding and buying is the right choice.

Good for you selling half at the top! I assume you're still in massive profit, right? If that's right, then you have no reason to sell at all. Hold it. Enjoy your profit, take a vacation, learn something new, invest in yourself, just forget about half of your BTC. Better yet, invest more when you have more confidence in Bitcoin after learning about it. |

Whether you sell or not today you are still in good profit if you'll calculate the past price of bitcoin on March 2017, I know that you are very much grateful with the gain you made. Bitcoin is a long term relationship platform
Bitcoin isn't a platform. Long term and short term are types of strategy a holder/investor wants to do with the bitcoin he holds. |

You don't have to be upset about on what's happening to bitcoin price, we all know how unpredictable it is due to the very high volatility of its market value. That's why we have to hold tight of our holdings instead of selling it with a very cheap price and lose the half of our investment, so we have to wait for the bitcoins full recovery before we sell all our holding to be able to earn profit than losing. Just don't lose your hope on it, it will surely make its full recovery after this huge correction of its price. |

I think you can hold it till the price is more higher, but if you want to sell it, just sell it's up to you. But in my opinion you hold it till end of the year, because maybe this end of the year bitcoin prices will rise rapidly like last year.

4 years ago, I still not trust on bitcoin so as long as I profit, I just sell it or if bitcoin on downtrend, I try to cut loss.
But bitcoin amaze me a lot because it can increase up to $ 15.000++ which is insane ,right ?
Feel regret ? Yes !
So what's next ? Keep Hold it !
