There's always exception to that rule of course in my participatin in bounty campaign, I saw a lot of coins getting pump when it hit the market, only to continuously dip after two weeks or more, so it's a good idea to sell a portion of your coin when it first hit the market that is to reward yourself from all your effort.

To be honest there is no thing as luck! If you put too much trust over the luck factor then you can say goodbye to your actual work in the crypto space. What crypto asks for you is the real work, a hard work plus some smart work if you want to have consistent income from here. If you ever want to win the trade market here then surely patience is key here and that calls for your persistent nature to jump in and show some skills. I never saw my luck overcoming these things. I think yes, patience is the key.
