hegemony and the popularity of the crypto industry which is increasing every day, this is one of the causes of many irresponsible individuals who use the ICO project as a place of fraud and take away investors' money. Not long ago, this had become a problem that had become a highlight in the bitcointalk forum, many bounty managers were getting red trust from moderators because of their inaccuracy in taking trustworthy and successful ICO projects. most managers only see quantity with the expectation of large profits in a fast period.

Many projects don't make it because they stopped working on it. There is a lot of work to do with a coin, think before you plan on hosting a ICO.

Unfortunately, most of the projects are no longer needed. In the future, almost all projects will disappear. Many projects were created initially for scam, and many simply failed to be implemented.

It is not surprising that many Altcoins are dead.  The fact is that any coin that is not backed by a solid project and potentials might not survive this bear market. Some also with unserious and greedy developers that are after money instead of developing  the project according to road map.

Currently on the coinmarketcap site only about 1590 projects compared to at times more than 1700 projects. They have left many projects without developers or scam projects. I personally invested in some of these projects and lost a lot of money like bitconect and centra. Do you trust the projects you are investing in and will keep them for a long time until they succeed or are they just looking for profit in the short term?

I remember investing in bitconnect which I presume at that time it was due to government regulations which many said its a scam and it was at my first time trial and that took my whole money I invested. in which I wasn't prepared for it like doing a proper investigation by then. I was just recommend by it through a friend and I will use this medium to say nobody should invest in a project just because he or she is told that the project is promising without doing a proper research.

every time there is a development it will certainly be a project that dies too. because the development will not always run better, of course there will be things that are not good too.

Yes, a lot of projects are dying. I think they need new investments, but investors do not want to invest in cryptocurrency now.

Most of the projects are definitely dead, and many of them have been for the sole purpose of cheating investors.
But there are also many excellent projects that now suffer because of the general mistrust.
We hope to get some clarity soon, and that the valid projects will recover

This is a competitive world done by speed evaluation but sometime by enough hurry.
So if you want invest I suggest to find forgotten project on which team is working hard.

This year 2018 is probably the year i think it is the hardest for most ICOS campaigns and projects ever. Bitcoin's downside and crypto markets have become so critical that many failed to capitalize on successful acquisitions.

I have to agree at a certain point because somehow I'm holding some coins right now and unfortunately, most of them are not active anymore. I guess there are really inactive projects these days but we must still be smart enough to choose the best project.

It all depends on the situation, there is no single tactic for all coins, something needs to be purchased for a long term ,something doesn`t.

Yes, many projects have lost their value and have not been successful, but I trust the projects in which I invested and I believe that in the future they will bring profit

the state of Bitcoin and the market makes investors less so that many ICOs cannot reach hardcap or even softcap. Low market conditions also make it more difficult for the team to develop the project because their currency also goes down but if Bitcoin recovers then I am sure there will be many projects that are alive again or at least there will be a lot of new project success.

Right now so many dead project, you shouldn't invest your money in ICO. In short term you can't get enough profits but for long time is possible.

Quite a controversial point. We will be able to declare it only after checks of SEC, but now really there is such impression.

Yes a lot of these projects are dead. Especially the ones with a poor or non existent team and dev.. Only solid projects with a decent team will pull through.

In fact, this is a matter of fraudsters, they initially create a project that does not have a meaning and you need to be able to select such projects. They have a lot of no clarity in the project, you need to check everything carefully!

I think the real picture will be clear after the end of the correction. Everyone is waiting and hoping to see the full range of cryptocurrency market. Only then will it be seen what will continue to live and what will not. I think so.
