I do not think that the price of a coin greatly influences the development of the final product. Developers have received investments for development and they have to do their job. If there is no progress, then the price of their coin will never grow.

I think yes many projects are dead or not successful because of this down market it can affect to the ICOs, only few ICOs are successful this year.

There are projects that aren't just profitable anymore and some are just down right useless that's why some exchanges just drop them because they are a nuisance in the whole market. They make more space for upcoming high potential and much more profitable tokens in the future.

This is why research is a very essential part of successful investment. There are so many things involved in knowing a good coin to invest in, if you do not want to lose your money. Some of these coins might look genuine, such as the so called bitconnect. I could remember some people were warned against it, but they never bothered to listen and they did not do enough research to make the right choice.

Many projects have unrealistic roadmap and plans. That is why they scam. The projects I am into have already started and that is why I still hold their coins. Most ICOs rushed between the end of last 2017 till date are basically dead
