setting up is easy it's the client servicing takes time. also can u mine scrypt n on a gridseed?
Nope, the whole point of Scrypt-N is to be immune to the Scrypt ASICs by switching the algo up a bit.  GPU only Wink

It's both!  We have a 490kh/s GPU rig and a 9% share in a Gridseed I'm hosting Wink
GPU rig hasn't been getting much action because of stability issues, but these past few days I've had 100% uptime (up until shutting it off today because no profit) so I'm pretty sure it's safe to say it's good to go

Payouts were sent last night for BTC, everybody has been dead quiet for what to do with the Scrypt rig.  Putting it on Leaserig and Vertcoin for now unless I can find a Scrypt-N multipool

Edit: Found one

Update: got 4/5ths of our power mining on trademybit, one GPU is being a pain with changing to Scrypt-N and I'll have to work on it tomorrow.  Only getting 145kh/s on a card that did 375 Scrypt, so it turns out we're not making much more here than we were Sad

The Ant sold for .345 minus an estimated .05 shipping cost.  This comes out to .07375 between the Pon3 Mining shareholders.  All of this will be going to even up for the Scrypt overpayment.  The remaining .0058 will be taken out of the reserve fund.  What's left of the reserve will be going towards a S2 groupbuy I'm starting in a few minutes

just added up what I spent vs payout, and I only got 57% of what I put in, which is a large loss.

Did everyone else see this also? I'm just curious.

also two of the payments was unconfirmed Sad

Yeah, I guess we had not foreseen the dominance of scrypt ASICs, the loss of value of scrypt-coins, dogecoin's block reward halvings, and BTC's huge difficulty increases.

Still, it's not so bad considering there is yet many months of payments to come. And kudos to Cooldgamer for handling this like a boss!

(Don't worry about the unconfirmed payment, it will pass through in a short while)

Oh thank you for that reply! I actually didn't realize there were still many payments to come, it sounded like things were done here. I guess I was confused.

Yes, kudos to Cooldgamer for sure!!

Also, the unconfirmed payments have been there for a while. there's one from the 11th, and one from just a few hours ago.

thanks again

Yes, mining Bitcoin is over, but our kh/s of scrypt mining should continue until February if it stays profitable Smiley

FYFY, the Gridseed is on a 90 day gb basis just like the Ant was, the GPUs will be the ones staying for the whole year (if profitable)
