Honestly, we do not have anything against him or his news show. He seems to be focused on good topics that are very integrated with the cryptocurrency ideals like decentralization and distribution of wealth.

However, we do find that his launch of MaxCoin was un-successful as far as fairness was concerned. After looking a little bit more closely through the MaxCoin website, I have yet to see a single post by the man that is supposed to be the one person responsible for his own currency.

We believe the people are entitled to a fair coin, with a support team that can actually assist them directly.

No AKC required for this post =) Thank you AltcoinAuthority for the interest and support, I have been meaning to contact you but we are stressing about these wallets right now. We have had a few very generous people helping us though, we just are having difficulty with adjusting the release time of the wallets alongside the Kimoto Gravity Well.

I agree, we don't have anything against him either. He has been a great supporter of cryptos over the years, however many of our members got severely burned from buying into Maxcoin too early. That major dump could have only been one group of people. It seems fairly likely that it was the insiders to me.

We still enjoy watching his show and support his efforts, however achieving a fair launch is not difficult as evidenced by the launch of AKC!

What this coin needs is some buzz. When people see this coin is being traded, it gets their attention.
Just sitting on a couple of million and keeping the price artificially SKYHIGH does nothing good for this coin.

Everyone with half a brain can do a quick calculation to see how much this coin is really worth.... you just estimate how much you can mine in one day with a given dif and block reward.

If you can mine a coin for literally a TENTH the cost that people are asking for a coin, you know people are kidding themselves.


But if you guys think it's really worth so much, by all means :

So out of curiosity, is there a new coin daemon that we should be running?  I see no "announcement".

Last time I did a pull off the source the wallet broke at block 7202.

Hey Kheg, yeah we didn't want to get everyone all stirred up yet. Still in the works, we will be sure to contact all the pool owners directly and get a new thread going with the updated info.

We're getting KGW, wallets, and the new forum post together and want everyone to have enough time and foresight so we can make a smooth transition.
