As a natural deal in the market, sellers always want to sell high and buyers always want to buy low. But the reverse seem the case with those sellers who dump their Crypto coin or tokens for some very low and ridiculous price. Thus that's not a natural market deal. What really is the reason why people dump? Have they got enough crypto gains that they need no profits no more?
maybe they tired to wait their tokens not rise, sometime projects only success in their ICO but not in market. so investor really tired to wait and then decide to cut loss their investment. or maybe that is bounty hunter who sell their tokens because they get it free

Lack of faith in the team to implement what the project is about to accomplish are the main cause of the dampen of tokens at low price. I don't think anyone will dump a coin that has a potential to become the next bitcoin or Ether.

In my view the main reason of selling is that they are thinking that the price will co e down and they can buy back in low. As most of the new coins when hit the exchange their will be always selling pressure from ICO investor and bounty hunter side which will make!the price go down.

People don't care about who is running certain projects or whatever they are capable of, they just want to see the value of their investment shoot straight towards the moon, and if possible within a week after their purchase. People are too ignorant and too stupid to realize what coin has the potential to be the next Bitcoin or Ethereum. If another major coin pops up, it will be one that no one expected to be like that. Back in the days no one even had faith or remote believe in Ethereum, where it was even labelled as scam, and look where it is today. It's impossible to position yourself in a coin with the mindset of buying the next big coin.

Because they fear that the market is constantly falling and falling to their lowest level, leading to a collapse, they are selling at a low price today and they are withdrawing from the currency market, People around me have met.

I can only think of one reason: They needed money, specially bounty hunters who wanted to get the reward for being in a campaign for so long that they don't care how much the value as long as they know that they are going to make money. As for those investors, maybe they have enough of that coins and doesn't think that it will have a good future so they decided to get out early and re-invest on other tokens. Maybe the mindset of investors have change as well since we are in the bear market in 2018. No one is holding that long enough to see their profits multiple in about a year. They really wanted to gain very quick now and then go on the next coin that will be pump, rinse and repeat the process.

I think many people who sell their coins with low price after ICO is their need for cash, they need cash money in hurry so the coins earned by them as fast as possible to be converted into their cash money. They will not concern of the price anymore, just CASH MINDED.
Many of them are those who had invested in the crypto without having a perfect plan and strategy and the red market is often enough to persuade them to withdraw even on low cost. This is actually foolishness. One should invest only the money that is not meant to be used sooner. That way, you would not need the money any sooner and would be able to focus on the plan that leads to financial perfection.

I think they do that as a means to mitigate their losses, if not, to try to avoid a loss altogether. I mean, in any business, it would be counter-intuitive to see someone just dump their asset for a price point that is seemingly non-profitable, and so, before a person could do that, there must be some heavy reason behind it because no person in this market is venturing with the mindset to actually lose money. Although it's part of the market to lose and have some or part of your investment to be wasted, it's still the overall goal to actually get a return.

I think that people are just afraid of losing their money and can not wait for the moment when the price goes up. Working on the crypto-currency market you need to be a very competent trader, and also constantly increase your level of knowledge

Most of the people who dump their tokens are actually panicking right now and that is the reason why they are losing a huge amount of coins, its because of reckless trading.

A lot of reasons why investors tend to dump their tokens. One of them to be consider is that their hold tokens seems to be undervalued or considered as shitcoins already that may have no value at all. That is why they decided to sell them to atleast used them before it got unlisted to some exchanges.

I think it is the effect of panic, maybe they panicked seeing the price keep going down when it was bought it was bad decision making. Panic will not make you gain it will only make you continue to lose. My suggestion to not panic better close the market and leave it no longer in a few days or weeks to not panic

From my personal point of view, most people sell off their money at low prices because they do not want to see their capital slipped further. That is the common mentality of traders who have no experience in investing. I see it as an opportunity for me to buy the potential currency at a low price.

I think the reason why some people always dump their token after they received it in the bounty campaigns is because they need money and they don't care if it will grow or not. They are a greedy type of people and have no enough knowledge about this kind of investments.

I am sure they already thought it through before they sold their coin for low price, I think there are numerous reasons why people sold the coin for low price, some maybe get caught in false news and then sold, some maybe found a better coin to invest and need to invest fast, some maybe need to emergency usage, so there are a lot of reasons, and I am sure nobody want to lose money but sometimes it need to be done

I think that it is the uncertainty and fear of missing out which causes a lack of confidence among people. It forces them to take decisions without considering the consequences of their decisions in the future. I have seen people selling their tokens at even 50% less price of it just to avoid hair loss. However, the common element is the lack of vision and research while taking any investment decision.

It could be possible that holders purchased coins well before the price skyrocketed and they are still profiting even if the price dropped substantially these days. Obviously, they significantly cut their profits. But it is better a small profit than a small (or big) loss!

I think one of the reason that cause people to dump their tokens at ridiculous low price is because they saw some negative news online about crypto-currencies, and when they start to saw the prices of the tokens they are holding dropping fast in the trading market due to panic selling, they joined in the group of panic sellers to sell away their tokens even at a loss.

I think they dump it according to their wants because some are having a profit, some are wanted to manipulate the market in order to buy more at the dips and also some are didn't want to loss profit that makes a panic selling when the price started to dump. But, I think it should not a reason that you also lead to sell also your holdings even the market is down because anytime it could be going up again due to the big community that supports to it and also the big potential to grow its value in the future.

If you study very well the technical analysis of a trading you will know why they dump their shares. The more percentage of loss you occurred the higher profit you need to achieve in order to break even. For example if you -90% loss you need to gain 1000% gain in order to break even. Also, for technicians they are very religious with their stop losses, once it was hit they need to sell it to minimize the loss.
