I agree with you, but for now BTC and eth are still a reference, need hard work, as we see BCH's efforts to match the strength of bitcoin, but only limited

I am of the opinion that BTC will continue to maintain the status of the real king and fashion trendsetter in the crypto market, it is from his course that all other projects depend.

I think Bitcoin and Ethereum will remain the leaders for years, because they made great progress in term of convincing traders, investors, and crypto exchanges to adopt them. However, project fundamental isn't a deciding thing in crypto, because all cryptocurrencies are used for speculative purposes.

For now it is hard to overtake the pioneer of cryptocurrency which is Bitcoin and also the king of alternative coins which is Ethereum. But the door is never close for development of technology and innovation that is some years definitely there are some candidates to over rule BTC and ETH.

There are new projects almost every month, which promise a more advanced technology, but it takes time to get truly reliable.

I do not think that someone will move bitcoin from the place №1. This is for a number of reasons, but what about the Eth is still possible to tell fortunes. Now ETH hold only on the fact that most companies install their products on the ETH platform. \\perhaps in a year or two we will see competing platforms that will not be inferior to ETH technologies, and even surpass. Time will tell

I do not think that in the next 5 years something will be able to force out Bitcoin and the Etherium from the 1st and 2nd places. Once, Ripple was already in 2nd place, but I do not think that such a thing can happen, Ripple was very overbought then.

Its to early for a new altcoin to take over bitcoin's rank or spot because we are still a very new market and institutions dont consider it as a serious investment. lots of people still dont know what is crypto and most altcoins are still pegged to bitcoins value.

I think Bitcoint will stay the king of crypto, it is nevertheless tough to predict however currently no one has outperformed bitcoint, but for a few years later

I think that these coins will occupy a leading position on the cryptocurrency for a long time. While there is not even a number of those coins that can move them . But this is a good motivation to strive for it . So just see what the future holds

still need a test of interest, because there is not always a new one was good. the deal will bring a coin to the position of the King and now introducing more people to the cryptocurrecency makes sense  Cheesy

I see BTC and ETH are the two cryptos dominating the electronic money market. But Bitcoin is king and will remain that way. I do not think the market can change so much that Bitcoin loses its place. Ethereum is amazing and will become better , but I do not think it will ever be bigger than Bitcoin. Bitcoin coins dominate and most potent.
Yep, I do have the same thought you guy. It’s terribly difficult for bitcoin to be defeated by any coins. As we all know that bitcoin is a start in terms of cryptocurrency, and no one can deny that bitcoin is such a big popular coin in crypto market, especially it occupies the trust of many people from various parts of the world. Also, bitcoin now is a major coin that most individuals use for paying something. Ethereum is probably a well-known coin these days, but I don’t think that ethereum can reach  to the position of bitcoin anymore. Still bitcoin is the king of crypto world.

No, I don't think a new technology will come and that will replace the bitcoin and ethereum! It is not possible, because of blockchain technology still a mysterious technology! There are many things need to explore and day by day it would come in real.
So, Bitcoin will remain the king but I think Ethereum will lose its position! EOS or another coin can replace the Ethereum! This is just my personal opinion.

And the king stays naked. As one story goes. Seriously, I don't understand why you think Ethereum is the new king. He's been in the king's back for so long, you can forget about him.

Although I'm not a great connoisseur in this field, I believe that the future for BTC is a currency with a lot of success.
He fixes himself in the leaders.
I do not know about ETH, but I think he also has a future, let him not be a leader. Smiley

I can not answer what kind of currency it Is, but someone will definitely come to replace it. At the moment, I believe that bitcoin will be relevant for exactly another 5 years, and Ethereum for another 2 years. And if they do have strong competitors, then there is still time until they can shift those currencies.

Now the mainstream currency, BTC-ETH, has the upper hand, and they have the strength and technology, but the future is likely to be a new project to replace them more mature and more comprehensive. What do you think it would be?
it is hard to tell what coin will be the new king but i would like to remind you that it is hard to name only one king
