So true, the overflowing count of icos is affecting the overall cryptcurrencies it somehow effecting it by making unnecessary coins that clearly has no purpose but to scam and to gain income from. What I fear the most is that it even affects the popular coins that is currently doing good on the market, and I personally think that our crypto community needs to do something about it.

In the last coming few years ICO's become bigger becaude most of the owner wants to earn more money so they create more ICO. Most of the ICO have same founder or owner or team. We don't know what ICO become successful in the future. Most of ICO failed some of them are successful.

For those who are in the game since last year, yes, very much easy for them to put up a ICO and promote it as something different. Specially scammers, they just copy someone else idea, hire a dev to look at the code and made necessary adjustments and then claim something unique and investors fall for it. Just look at the reputation threads and you will find plagiarism accusations because someone just copy the whitepaper and again claim that they have written it from scratch. Lol.

Because it's very easy to creat erc20 token and they want eth, money. It's easy to create and advertise, most of them are phishing. You can lose money and personal information for this. Be careful before joining it.

As far as I have read it is pretty simple to create a smart contract and issue your own token. Thus it is also rather simple to start an ICO. But the difficult part is to develop a unique idea, to convince people to invest in your project and to build a solid team for pursuing your vision and goals. It's true that there are a lot of ICOs these days but the share of good ICOs is decreasing and I think further regulations will make it also more difficult to start a ICO. In the longrun the regulations should affect us in a positive way and protect the investors.

I am very careful when joining the ICO because most of the user information can be exposed in the project and if this is a scam project it is more dangerous because they can sell your information to earn more money. I think before taking part you need to evaluate their project and ask questions related to the project as this can give you confidence in big projects.

There are so many guys have more new idea which maybe can improve this crypto world everyday and it's the main reason why there are so many ICO projects created day by day but not all of them are successful . Some projects are successful but the left are not because so many reasons like dev team is not really good, roadmap, idea or something else is not good

Nope it is not easy to organize and ICO and a project there are so much regulation out there to be finished. There are many ICOs because they some want to earn big and some want to scam others. This is why you need to be careful in choosing ICO to invest with.

Correct what has been posted by the above comment. ER20 is easy to create. And many people use ICO as a tool for profit only. such as ICO scam.
If all ICO is not a scam, surely many people will succeed from ICO, but in fact many people lose from following ICO.

ICO is just a form of capital mobilization from many sources. If you have an idea and a professional working team, you can easily implement your ICO project. There are a lot of support groups that make the money for you. The current ICO implementation has become quite easy.

it is now a lot of ICO is popping up and with this now more and more fraud and many projects are dead then from now on many people who run and start investing in crypto because now the crypto is decreasing then of that with many ICO that appear you must be careful if you want to invest
