I would not call it a competition, they both exists and add value to the market with their own ways, the value of them both is way too distant to even call it a competition and still they fluctuate with terrible down and huge rises from time to time.

Bitcoin challengers are ethereum who are trying to rival bitcoin but have not yet achieved it. ethereum also has sophisticated technology but etherum has not become a top priority for investors. many people choose bitcoin because the price is the highest. |

if u see the price of ether and bitcoin today, u will change your opinion. bitcoin has always been the most reliable coin ever since 2009. although ether has established a large-scale ICO ecosystem. but it is still young, relative to bitcoin. it also has to go through many tests

Eth is a popular and promising coin. It has a very good future. But it cannot compete with bitcoin. BTC is the king of whole crypto. It's capital is very huge. ETH may go a long way but cannot defeat btc.

I think that bitcoin will always be number one in the crypto market. Bitcoin is the foundation of the whole market. I very much doubt that any project in the future will be able to take its place.

I don't think so. I think we on our own just like to make a lot of unnecessary opinions and we might have to cool off on that. I think that each of these coins, are running their individual race, regardless of the other. I don't think that they are in some sort of competition. Most times, these "competitions' are usually between their investors.

The arguement about ethereum beating bitcoin is not important in my opinion, what's important is the fact that cryptocurrency ideals and technology is been used in more places than one. Majority of cryptocurrency applications is still within cryptocommunity! These crypto wonderful featured need to be out there been applied to real world!

I am not agree that bitcoin and Ethereum with compete with one another but both are crypto and it is about people Interest and if one like bitcoin they will go for bitcoin while other go for the other coins and altcoin are good to have and in these days people are investing more in the bitcoin while it is good for me as well that i have to invest in it. |

It could happen that ethereum competes with bitcoint, until now ethereum has always been beside bitcoint, and until now there has not been any coint that can rival the popularity of bitcoint, we will see in the next few years whether ethereum can beat bitcoint or not

There is no direct competition between bitcoin and ethereum. These are completely different coins for their tasks and functionality. However, of course, outwardly the ethereum can compete with the bitcoin for the leader's place in the future. However, in the near future it will not work in ethereum, because bitcoin has too much capitalization, and without loss of price dominance over the other types of crypto currency, no one can lose it from leadership. |

And the number of circulating supply or total supply is different aswell, in this case a slight price increase in ethereum will definitely give huge impact to the total market capitalisation. Consider that, logically a coin that have huge amount of supply will definitely have less price than a limited coin like bitcoin that only have 21 mil. |

beside of its rate, bitcoin has low supply if we compare with ethereum.there are several differences between ethereum and bitcoin that make investor choose of one them. |
