Hi all,

The markets are falling significantly again, is this still relatively normal and is the best advice just to HODL? Moving forward I think I will set stop losses on all holdings to protect my capital against falls like this.

Thanks

I think at this time people will not mind to wait any longer. The market is starting to improve, and signal gains are already visible.
I think everyone is preparing to welcome the year-end hike, and I think selling right now is not a good option, especially on top tier coins.
we can all speculate and wait, we can't predict what future can be inside this industry, though you are correct we are seeing some small pumped previously, giving some investors small earnings while those holders are still looking positively, waiting games is for those people who fully understand and can handle the risk, better to observe well and earn after.

For me, my market tactics is to buy when is low and sell when is high that is what i do in crypto world even though the market is bad i can use it to gain more profit. Holding for dearest life is also a good tactics in cryptocurrency because cryptos will increased a lot when the right time comes and you only need patience to do it.
Should be observed Balance Volume (OBV): This is one of the best indicators for day trading cripto coin used to basically analyze the total money flow in an out of an instrument. The OVB uses a combination of volume and price activity to tell you what is the total amount of money going in and out of the market.

with a situation like this of course this makes a dilemma. and I think the strategy we can do is survive until the normal market situation returns. because I believe the market situation will not be forever down. And I think the best strategy right now is to wait until normal market conditions return and then discard what we have when the market situation is high.

After a bad situation in the last few months, I think it's time we start the next swing. Perhaps at this time all prices will be slightly correlated with Bitcoin. And the good news is that at the start of the second half of the year, Bitcoin is slightly up. If we agree to hold on for longer, maybe we will be able to restore our portfolio.

After holding out in a few months, I think it's not a wise move to sell at the moment. The market is starting to show a positive signal, and perhaps the end of the World Cup will bring even greater impact. So the easiest way is to hold altcoins, and if you do not mind, maybe buy more.

I do not understand trading well and after several unsuccessful attempts I decided not to do it. I think that now the most correct decision is a hold. In the long term, this market will definitely grow, so if you do not know how to trade, then just buy and wait.

First you need to know the situation of the market, and its movement. That is the first thing to know when your going to sell your coin or if your going to buy lots of it. Know the situation is the wise thing to do because you can avoid losing money when you do buying and avoid losing profits when do selling. And since market is unpredictable and mostly changing, watching the market all everytime can make you to know what to do easily.

stop-loss for wimps. For real Holders, nothing is scary. Just need to choose the right time to buy and the correct object (coin, token). If I was confident in the EOS then I got my X10. Now, after getting a good profit, I think it's possible to buy the same amount ...

I participate in the iso. Invested most of the free funds so it turns out to save them or multiply. this strategy eliminates the need to check the blockfolio every hour.

I am more and more persuaded that you need to earn,  instead of holding or trading or investing or whatever else you need to earn money here. And there are still many opportunities to do that in any market condition.

During this deep fall I have bought many of cryptocurrencies that I like and now I can say that I would like to hold them, until there will be another peak like in 2017, while they all will grow!

During this current dip, I am still adding some more to my portfolio and holding patiently. I invested in crypto what I can afford to lose since August 2017, doing cost averaging method, besides, I don't need the money yet. Best advice I can say is to just follow your own strategy and make sure you have the discipline to do so without having any regrets.

The market is bleeding, before you get a loss you should hold the coins you have and make for your investment. With this situation, you should see a coin that is still stable and if you are interested you should buy it. But if you want to play patiently, then you can buy ETH and hold it. If one has an ETH there is a possibility the price will jump up and maybe you will profit.

Yep it would be helpful to make stop losses but make sure you do more research on how it works because it's a very common trader mistake, so for you to know what to do then trade using indicators before setting up stop loss.
