thanks for sharing. a cold wallet will always be the safest option. good stored private keys on paper and ledger nano. A lot of measures can be taken for a safe hold but I recommend keeping a backup of your wallet and ensuring never to reveal. Your account details to anyone.

Phishing is a major culprit, because people are simply too lazy to read. They receive a phishing email and quickly browse through it and then they click on URL links, without thinking twice. You should always hover your cursor over the link, to see what it is or you should just type it, to be safe.

A lot of these exploits can be prevented, if people take the time to scrutinize these emails and if they enable 2FA to their mobile devices. <not to email>
