Just buy and hold, do not gamble with your money especially if you are a newbie, you will end up regretting it in the long run. Just buy coins like bitcoin and ethereum to hold for the long term, You don't even have to do anything, just make sure that the wallet that you are holding the coins in is secure and just be patient. Thats actually a pretty big amount to start with. I think the best strategy is to diversify. It will maximize your earnings and at the same time it will minimize your lost. You can divide your investment into five and choose five best crypto in the market. Bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, monero, and ripple are good combinations.

Great things happen if you invested that on promising coins. usually my bet goes to top 30 coins. DOn't you worry trillion market cap is coming in our way. YOur 10k will be greater sooner or later.

Most investors do not want to invest in altcoin during this time. I think the trend of altcoin will be down in the next few days. I did not invest in altcoin a few months ago. I just want to focus on investing in Bitcoin

How do you mean when you said gambling? I do not think this is the correct word to use. Any way if you want to buy and hold you can buy Bitcoin and also ethereum. The two are good because of their liquidity in the market. They are also commanding the highest volumes respectively. Have a look at  Minex coin. Babb and telcoin.

Tell your friend who brought you to the crypto world that he is a Sucker and does not understand these projects. First, you need to study what cryptocurrency is, what blockchain is, how it works, then study the projects and understand that there are a lot of interesting and promising ideas, only time is needed. Wont go for Ripple, i think it is a centralised shit coin and saw a good new word for it- " Server coin" .
POssibly ETH and IOTA but in my view we will see very low prices in the next few weeks before we do go up indeed.
I would suggest you to consider NEO and FSBT.

I do not advise you to take risks and invest in Ripple for a short term.  I think it's better to invest some money in EOS for a long term.

If you are just starting to invest, it's best not to risk and not invest in Ripple and IOTA.  If you want to quickly get a good profit, then it's best to invest in BTC.
