It is certain that by 2023 ETH's rates will be higher than NEO's because NEO is facing a lot of disadvantages, although NEO is appreciated by being considered as Ethereum in China. The government banned the cryptocurrency transaction, so the current exchange rate dropped to just $ 20. By 2023, ETH will dominate the market, surpassing both BTC and NEO.

Are you sure about that? and why bitcoin should below both of these coins? these days people are considering the bitcoin as a very good thing to store their value. I will consider both of these coins for long-term investment because in a short period the prices may dump very fastly, so holding these coins for long-term will always give good returns. Both these companies will be on the same platform which will be implementing their developments. Many companies will start using these two platforms according to their requirement.

Firstly, NEO was manipulated and supported by the Chinese CCID while the crypto communities supported Ethereum base on the utility, potentials and how ethereum changedvthe crypto currency scheme. Ethereum future upgrade system will eliminate the chance other DAPP/smart contract coins currently has over Ethereum

Secondly, POS with sharding will does influence the price because all cryptonier love faster and more easily managed network and with POS sharding  will be achieve.

Thirdly, NEO council announced future upgrades but I won't believe either if I were you because of time they gave for their decentralisation implementation cause it seems to me that they are not serious about the project.

The advantage of ethereum is simply too big, NEO is a great coin and I'm sure that is going to become a very successful network on the future but ethereum also has a lot of very talented developers behind it so they are not going to let their advantage to disappear just because a new and promising project has appeared, if anything this is going to motivate them to keep working hard.
