What do you actually mean by "use Bitcoin (Altcoin as well)"? How do you actually want us to use it? As you already know bitcoin has become an abstract common noun. We can't touch it or smell it but we know it exists on the internet. We learn about it, we see its progress, we observe its ups and downs, we sell it and buy it. How else we can use it? As a currency? I'm sorry to disappoint you but Bitcoin is not a currency yet.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

As far as I am more and more in it, I can do some conclusions.

1) People are mostly not using the Bitcoin (altcoins as well);
2) Crypto-enthusiasts are real enthusiasts only when the price goes up;
3) Even considering there are more crypto-companies appear which offer their services, and more people join our community - the level of crypto education and adoption is still very low;

Almost 95% of all people in crypto I know personally are holding or trading, but not using it to its functionality. I cannot judge anyone for this, but let's be honest - it won't bring you any money if you just will buy it and wait.

So, there is a question: "How much of you use Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency to its full capacity?" I am curious about this because as for now it looks like there is only a small group of people making some contributions.

I don't think that people not use Bitcoin.
Yes, most people holding BTC because wait good price (after drop 20K to 6K).
I use btc rarely.

I use bitcoin mostly in trading and in long term hodl. When I need cash, bitcoin is one of my source. I've been using bitcoin in many of my online transaction and I mostly convert it into fiat to buy or invest in another business. Bitcoin is more profitable if you compare to fiat currency or cash. It can grow tremendously within a week while fiat isn't unless you are trading professionally in forex. Bitcoin, by mere holding it for some months can give you an excellent profits especially when there is an ongoing bullrun.

Yes until now I still use Bitcoin. There are a number of ways such as mine and this requires great effort and a number of devices that support them. And I also save Bitcoin because this is very important to me.

Yes I actually use bitcoin because its the only thing I know also most of the people are know bitcoin even though they don't know how to use it and to have it aside from that there are few countries who are accepting bitcoin so it is not impossible to be known by the other countries and the only problem that I know is still there's a lot of people especially countries who are against on it.

Since it's my full-time source of income, of course i always use some of my cryptos specially bitcoin, but i convert it first to fait money before i can use it to buy some products specially on my daily expenses and for my family needing, because there are still no stores and markets are accepting bitcoins here in my place.

Why do we have to use Altcoin for its functions? When FIAT has the necessary ability to solve problems related to payment, and transaction. Altcoin is very volatile, and this is the reason I do not use it for the essential functions that it provides to the user.

I use bitcoin in just trading altcoins but other than that like using it as a daily driver for payments like in a coffee shop or buying things in a mall then don't. Bitcoin is just a tool for me and not like a fiat money since a lot of people who owns stores didn't know about bitcoin and they are afraid to try it because they know that the market is so volatile.

yeah it's true that they only buy bitcoin but won't use it and sell it when the price goes up. they only invest in it not use it as daily currency. But it will bring you money if you buy it and just wait that's how we/they invest

As far as my main income is from crypto i would love to use my crypto for everyday spendings but it is rarely possible. I have to withdraw to fiat each month.
If there was simple solution for sure i would use it. Zeex is starting ICO in which you will be able to spend your crypto without KYC in 350+ brands by gift cards (adidas, starbucks, tesco etc)

Actually l am using bitcoin for investment purpose. Most of us are using for investment only. I want to use it in trading also but at present bitcoin has not gain popularity in trading, especially in lndia like developing country.

I didn't really use BTC when I was dealing in stores or online. At present, encryption is not widely used, and BTC may be used in the future.
