Positively I think. Bounty campaigns are a new way of terming advertising campaigns. People use various modalities to promote the prijet to the outside world and so to me I think they're worth it. In some cases, it has impacted negatively also. There was a project which was based on crypto arbitrage and it decided to have a signature campaign here on the forum. After, the signature campaign was posted, it came into limelight and some members here did some analysis of the service offered by them.

Solid proofs were given be members on how it is a scam project and now all that ranks on Google. So it was a bad move by them.

You can't give advertisement of ICOs on TVs because ICO is supposed to be International. So I think Bounties are the only option for the exposure it needs and affect the surroundings in positive way. If no one knows about any ICO, then no one is going to buy the coins/tokens it is selling.

Right! It is a great marketing tool that I will kind of call cheap due to the fact that the developers or team will not even have to spend anything to get the products out there to investors which makes it a huge value for them.
