I wouldn't recommend bothering with airdrops but the bounties are definitely worth putting some time into. Some pay low/nothing but you'll get high rewards that make up for it.

It only depends on the ICO's  or Airdrop thatyou are participating with. Some of it are scams but there are some of the ICO that made to help people in terms of financial aspects.

Airdrops have become a waste of time, unless it is highly exclusive one that not many know about. Most current airdrops are a complete waste of time, and is only meant for quick and easy list building (in this case, Telegram list building). If you get 10 tokens out of a supply of 10 billion, in the end you can't even withdraw but only convert for a few cents.....and often even that isn't possible (maybe if it reaches Binance you can convert your dust to BNB )?

I do not think you should to give up. If you want to participate in bounty campaigns, you may just have to choose them more carefully after a more in-depth research. I have personally been involved in many campaigns and have always paid me the tokens that I earned. In the beginning, their price has almost always been below the announced price, but then you have to be patient and wait for it to rise.

You should not give up now. You just in the beginning of success if you give up then you will not probably get want you are dreaming of. It is not waste of time, first if it just scam or a waste of your time why there are lot of investors and users still using crypto as their source of income. Why is it every day crypto becomes popular. And lastly, if it is waste of time why there has lots of investor and users who are now successful because of bitcoin. Continue and dont give up.
