If you set a stop loss and the price trigger the stop loss then it is definitely better to sell it and wait for another opportunity to enter again but if you don't set any stop loss and you already lose a lot then it's better to just hold it until the price goes up again, you have to wait a long time but it's better than lose a lot of money.

We all know that the situation with market is not that good as we want it to be. Thus it affects a lot of ICO projects. On the one hand people don't invest in coin so much money as they did last year. On the other bounty hunters sell tokens fast and the price goes very low. That is why some projects prefer list their token on Idex first. They want to see how a coin plays on market.
And what investors should do in such situation? Sell all they have for small money or wait until a token will go up?
I'm asking as a person working in such project. After ICO token price went down (KCY, I'm sure you heard of it). And It is interesting to know investor's opinion about such situation.
What is your idea?
For me, I think it’s a stupid idea for us to sell them at ridiculous low prices, because it is considered a loss. Think about buying high and selling low? It’s simply a loss and it is not good. The best option for you is to hold those tokens until it gains traction and demand when the market goes high once again. I am in a similar situation as well. I do have some tokens that I hold, in which their values are below the ICO price. I choose to #HODL them rather than accepting the loss quickly. it is a good idea, because holding now can save market. if everyone will start selling maket will fall down and will never recover |

Dont sell now. Just hold. because you can regret later on if you sell your coins cheap and you lose. because if you hold and the price rises you can benefit. So be patient, just hold until you get profit.

Depending on the token, If you have read the whitepaper and how the token/crypto will work then only you, as the bounty hunter/advertiser and investor will know if the Token is worth waiting for it to bounce back or to sell.
We all know how the crypto market suffered lately. A big portion of the cryptocurrency industry suffered a great loss these past few months, and we know how BTC and ETH affects another cryptocurrencies.

If you didn't sell already at the top or near the top, why would you sell now for cheaper price? That doesn't make sense to me. Just wait until it goes up again, then you can sell it. Don't lose your money. You don't lose as long as you don't sell for loss.

If the token is very good and potential one better hold it. Or if you think token is not good and price will fall better sell it. Decision is upto you. Always I would suggest everyone to hold their coins. Because at present market price is not good. But market price is not stable one. I hope the price will move forward. So hold it. |
