As I have seen from a website about China's nabbing crypto thieves.  So, being a computer genius has a lot of advantages to get rich so easily with cryptocurrencies if they will not be caught.  Unlike us who makes clean living by trading, mining, investing and bounty hunting, they tend to get easy income in their professional thieves way.  Might be this is the reason why bitcoin's value is going down.  Just my thoughts..

Check out the link about this news I have red.

Well, we can't possibly get rid of those kind of person that is infecting the market with that kind of way of earning their money. But I guess that is their deal of a living.

For me, it is really possible for hackers to steal your wallet if your wallet is saved in your computer. If they have the access to your PC and for your wallets/keys with the use of malware/virus, therefore they can access your wallet easily. I suggest that do not save your passwords/keys (especially your wallet) in your PC. Maintain your PC and look out for threats that can make your PC vulnerable to hackers. Be careful and be sure in what website you are putting your passwords/keys for your wallet.

This is one of the main problems for all owners of crypto currency. Each user should have a high level of protection of their savings. But many are too lazy to make an effort to learn ways to protect, but there are a lot of them. and you need to use all these tools.

Hacking a computer to steal your bitcoin, as long as the computer is connected to the Internet, this is inevitable, we should put the wallet in a safer place.
The disconnected hard drive or computer is usually disconnected, except when used.

This is nothing new actualy..
Unfortunately many Bitcoins were stolen with the help of different malwares and lack of protection on users side.
Especialy vulnerable are web wallets but mobile wallets could be endagered too.
Also it's not advisable to keep your coins at exchanges. They are not configured as wallets and are vulnerable to different attacks, malwares and threats.

It is possible to steal your Identity, Crypto and Other account informations by hackers by puting a malware on a file that you've downloaded that's i put some 2FA security on every account that i have, Hackers are very smart now they can steal your informations within a second so be careful what website you entered for and check if that site has a https:// and do not trust people who sends you a link or making a clickbait, Especially online bitcoin wallets are very easy for professional hackers to hijack it so we need to put so many security options to it.

many ways that hackers can do to steal user data by spreading infected viruses on computer networks. this is certainly not strange anymore, let alone cryptocurrency is worldwide and can easily invite crime to get results faster.
lately there is news that hackers can steal bitcoin in large enough quantities, it can justify the decline in bitcoin prices to date because of hackers who deliberately dump the bitcoin in large enough quantities so that the price continues to move at the lowest point

It's actually an interesting subjects of law and ethics. If you take advantage of someone's hardware without his knowledge, but at the same time you don't limit his abilities in any way, is it a crime?

I think it's usually a crime if you access someone's computer without authorization. In the US:
Quote
The Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA) is a United States cybersecurity bill that was enacted in 1986 as an amendment to existing computer fraud law (18 U.S.C. § 1030), which had been included in the Comprehensive Crime Control Act of 1984. The law prohibits accessing a computer without authorization, or in excess of authorization.

Many people whose computers were being used for mining didn't even notice and did not mine or plan to mine for themselves, so the hacker took advantage of their lack of knowledge and overall carelessness. He made money by using them, which is a bad thing, but he also did not make them lose money. Their computers were mining in the background only when these people were using them for other things, so they would be drawing power anyway at that given time whether they'd be infected or not.

How much does CoinHive, etc. slow down your computer? Maybe they "paid" by suffering through slower processing times. Smiley

They weren't accessing it. They added the virus to commonly downloaded programs, like the bones featured on freeware download sites and set the programs to connect to a pool with the hacker's login. Technically he was never accessing their computers.

I'm sure it slows them down significantly, but that's not the case. They were mining for weeks or even months without knowing it, so either they didn't notice or they did notice and didn't care.

The value of password is getting higher and higher, there will be hackers who will use virus to steal the encryption, there will be bad people staring at valuable things.

Chinese are prohibiting themselves from the internet. I mean, the use of the internet will always restricted and you have to use VPN to freely surf the internet. This restriction will just make themselves cannot learn more from the internet about this as per my thinking back in year ago, but its happening now.

Of course. I'm agree with you. Hackers can easily hack our computers using different methods. And they can steal our database very easily. They will get our Keystrokes, passwords, screen shots,etc.. Nowadays there are so many apps and software in the internet. Some of them are fake and hackers use them to hack our computer or mobile. Most apps asking about permissions for calling, gallery, camara, etc.. After that without looking up we Allow every single permission request. So finally we got hacked. Best thing is for our safe, we should use good internet security software and we must keep it up to date.

Sad to say but this is really possible so you better keep your account safe. Please take notice of what you are using to avoid inconvenience. Scammers and hackers will do everything they can to harm us and they can really use viruses in computer to steal from us. Always remember that safety is better than cure so prevent getting hacked.

I think this is not a viros that harm your computer but a viros that will emply your crypto wallet. Usualy they will sending you a message specialy in email using something you win or to claim and when you open this email they are asking your private key to claim that but the truth is they are stilling your info.

What you have just mention is not a determining factor of bitcoin price. The value of bitcoin is depreciating due to low demand based on some regulations by some countries this year.

Yes, it's sad that these figures who come up with all these viruses and antiviruses, have turned their attention to good goals
