Ok I have got the wallet by myself working with source code myself. Of all things there is a typo in one of the forms.
In the source code ./src/qt/forms/overviewpage.ui
<string notr="true">0 VGC /string>
It should be:
<string notr="true">0 VGC </string>
That has taken me a few hours to find this.
I am no developer by any means but this bug that prevents you from installing is quite poor. To me it just looks like whoever "developed" just copied the source code and not really thought about/or tested the source code compilation.

Very bad launch, guys.. I mined the coin with 2.7MH for like 2 hours, when the diff. was very low, but my balance is 1.3 coins. You should provide at least one working pool before launching the coin. I wish you best of luck, but I will move to other coins.

Not a bad launch lol, just the first pool was bad.. So far I am getting the best results from the p2pool. Try that, and MineBig.com is making a stratum pool today http://VGC.MineBig.com but check out the official site http://VegasCoin.co for more info. And thanks to that guy who found an issue, I will update this Monday. |

I think it was a very bad launch. Few people got to mine couple of days by themselves when others couldn't because there was no working wallet.

Even though pooled.cc is buggy and has a lot of graphic glitches, like balance doesn't show up in Dashboard and more, it did pay out every share I made there.
You just select the coin to cashout and you'll see your funds. Checking at Transactions also helps to keep track.
So overall pool is fine ..ish. Just that it died for a good few hours earlier today so I switched.
