They only look at that period while don't look at it's history from the beginning. Indeed, Significant price increases in the same quarter last year, making people excessively expectations. Last year, Bitcoin has many events including Bitcoin hard fork, many new promising altcoin was announcing, etc. The market was very health and good for doing trading, in other way there is still any government seeking to tire Bitcoin transaction either. Time has been change, condition could be different, we should be wise to view it from wide picture.

Last year in August, we had Bitcoin Cash hardfork which brought a significant pump in BTC. This time we have possible BTC ETF launch. People expected Bitcoin to drop after hardfork but instead opposite happened and BTC appreciated more. This could be the last topic talking about how the price is going down instead of going up, ever since than the price has been going constantly up and the people have been very bullish on the bitcoin price. Among the negative news like Bitcoin ETF got rejected by SEC just a day back, bitcoin showed again positive trend again on today also. Bitcoin may give bears some rest as of now which may persist until it will reaches $10k or even $12.8k levels.

Lets not go on to the guy though, price was going down just couple weeks ago, we are not too much far parted from the $5.8k days so he was kinda right to be really pessimistic about the prices, hindsight is always 20/20 on these kinds of topics. I do see  now people do start new topics which are about speculating how much peak bitcoin will hit just with this momentum.

I think bitcoin is still strong it's just the market is not good enough to rise the price. We can still see many transaction that created everyday as this is a good indication that money is still flowing in this technology. We just need patience to wait for a better market and I hope that in the next following months we can see a good progress in crypto. Just hold-on, recovery will takes time.
