the new web site is awesome, it's like a marijuana addict taking you in an imaginary place cause by hallucinating effects of cannabis sativa, hahaha, LOL!
some marijuana related crypto is still in the market and still evolving but not that hot, maybe because eventhough it is already legalized in some countries, other still look at marijuana as a hallucinating drugs and not as a cure to some diseases, i guess they need some information to open their mind and accept it as a medicine so those marijuana-related cryptocoin will be accepted and supported as well, i knew there are a lot who already accepted that but it really needs to have some information campaigns that will also help the coins related to marijuana.

Hey guys, just curious when the coin swap will begin.
I submitted yesterday and was told today it would happen, but it is now just shy of 9PM PST, which might as well be the latest timezone out there, with no coins in my wallet.
Is it simply because it's done manually? Bittrex still has the wallets as under "Wallet Maintenance" as well so my newly purchased coins are frozen.

I'm in no rush but I just feel as though information about the swap is extremely limited and that I need some answers.
I would highly recommend explaining the process (as well as how to get your private key, etc., for newbs) if you want to eliminate headaches.

Sorry for the late reply, been extremely busy these days.

Regarding questions with the swap - Bittrex has already received coins on a new chain, so we're waiting for them to enable the wallet.
As for manual swap, there is a problem with alive nodes on V3 version that are on the longest chain. Now I am trying to get the latest blockchain snapshot to finally start importing your private keys, checking balances and sending "new" coins. For those people who already used the swap form - please PM me as you are able to. The guy who submitted an address (starting with 4Eue...) instead of a private key - please also reach me to get your coins. Also, I'll prepare a small guide for newbies about how to get their private keys later today.

As for syncing issues, please make sure you've added three nodes from the OP to your dopecoin.conf file and post the result your of "getinfo" and "getpeerinfo" in the thread or in PM. It should be fine, as it can be seen on a block explorer we have 10 blocks in ~15 minutes as it should be.

How to get your private key in Qt wallet:

1) Go to "Receive coins" tab and copy your address to a clipboard:



2) Then go to Help - Debug window, switch to Console tab and type dumpprivkey <address> here:



You'll get your private key as output. Please note that you have to repeat this operation for every address if you have more than one.

Now you can go to the swap page and fill the swap request form.


Some information about the swap process.

As it looks like the old V3 chain is stuck, I'm going to use block explorer to check balances (the snapshot was taken on 10 January). If you had any transactions after this date, please contact me and we'll find a way how to handle it.

I'll be checking the list and sending coins on a new chain at least once a day during working days and more often on weekends. Unfortunately I won't be available during the upcoming weekend so if you fill in the form during this Saturday of Sunday you'll have to wait until Monday. Regarding the requests that are already received - please reach me and PM your address and wallet balance as I need to check one more thing. Once it is done, the first batch of requests will be processed (most likely tomorrow).

I don't have a Mac, but according to a sync guide you should do something like this:

- In Mac OS X, the data folder is /Users/YourUserName/Library/Application Support/DopecoinV3. The Library folder is hidden, and in order to make it visible at Finder, you must open Terminal (/Applications/Utilities/Terminal) and type the following command to the Terminal window, followed by enter: defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles YES. You will then have to log out and back in to make Finder aware of the configuration change.

Create dopecoin.conf file here and paste the following nodes:
