The name of the coin will remain DopeCoin.

I realize that this sometimes rubs new people the wrong way but the reality is that we have been around for a long time and we have been through a lot. Rebranding the coin as something different would cause a lot of confusion and would make little sense as it would be better to just make a new coin...

Our dispensary partners love the coin and have no issues with the name. We are currently working on payment API integrations and educational videos as we work to bring new shop owners and users to the project.

Should be an interesting month, I will keep you updated with any new developments as they are taking place and completed.

Problem is dope was never really meant towards marijuana, it has a longer history use with smoking the poppi and it is more related to heroin or meth use.

Really think about it, not just "dope is legacy, never going to change it".

With all the creatives in here, I'm surprised no one has come up with something more creative and proper.

it s a good idea pot has no real value dope has been proven to have real value it is only matter days before we see dope hit 1k-10 sats i just keep buying $1 a day or so fill may bags

Doing very well, what about yourself? Are there any opportunities to help in dope coin marketing? If I am going to participate here from a coin holder standpoint, I figured I would at least check to see if I can put some of my skills to use haha Pay is not really needed. You want this project to be taken seriously then rebranding will be the only way. Otherwise it'll stay as a gimmick.

This coin seems to be definitely more worthy than potcoin but I have to say the name "Dopecoin" is off-putting.

Can you imagine saying to your kids many years down the line: yeah, daddy made all his millions with "Dopecoin"....

When I hear the word "dope" that what I immediately think of:


Rebrand should happen at some point if this is to really take off.

Food for thought maybe.
