Now many people are starting to turn away from ICO due to the fact that they often hold contests according to the type of proof of love for the project.

yes I do. We also know that many ICOs are scams. But many ICOs are also legit and worthy to invest for the future technology. I guess that people are afraid for investing in an ICO. It is normal. But, as long as I feel sure about the token from the ICO, I will take the ICO to invest.

The chance of been scam through ICO project is large because investors only follow the hype and the crowd when investing into ICOs. This why it very important to always go for ICOs which their manager is someone who's experienced and reputable on here, do your own research about the legality of the project and the unique concept behind the project before dive in.

yes, I agree that ICOs in 2018 are very, very big, the money flow in to ICOs only the first half of 2018 is more than all of 2017 combine.
lots of ICOs were succeed. and were listed on big exchanges.
invest on ICOs are very risky. but gain big money. it's own people choice to invest. can't have a form for every people.

it is true that investing in ico can be profitable but if you look at ico's situation lately it might be a bit risky because now many ico are scam even though ico looks good and has a good rating on an ico rating site, and that makes it difficult to determine which ico is good for investing.

We need some time and then most of ICO es would be good, i mean only  0.5% or less would be scams, as most of projects will present MVP with ICO so investors would know what is what.

Invest money into ICO is still a great idea because afterward, it will give a good return once the project succeed. Nowadays many ICO's are not legitimate to avoid scam project make sure you will read the whitepaper to notice the legitimacy of the project. Also to know whether the project scope or roadmap is realistic and achievable. There are many ways to find out whether the ICO project is legitimate or scam. It's up to you how you will notice it. For furthermost, invest money with ICO is still a great idea nowadays.

I still plan to invest but only in one or two and that will only be when I find a coin that is worth investing in for me. There are way too many scam icos and quite frankly it is making me lose interest in investing in any of the icos that are out there right now. It has certainly increased the risk of losing our money by a large margin.

yes I do, even if there are some ico that we can call scam, there are some ico that is legit and worth to invest. you just have to find a better one and take more time investigating. in that case, you will be able to lower the chances of getting scam.

I think it would not hurt to keep investing in ICO, because not all ICO is a scam, there is still a good ICO. we just need to be more selective, and also have to be very careful. and always do a lot of research

Investments always a risky project, be it ICO, mutual funds, property or any other thing,more the risk more the reward, ICOs are the hot investment now a days, before investing in any ICO one should check the project thoroughly, what is the project all about, what is roadmap, how solid is concept, team, website, followers etc, it will decrease your chances to be scammed.
