I think even earlier. QRK skyrocketed from 50 to 25000 after block reward fell to 32. Q2C block reward is at 32 currently, but hashrate and general interest are way lower than QRK's were at that point in it's life, so no rocket yet. But it might go up very soon. Today Qubitcoins had more 24h-Volume on Poloniex than Litecoins and Q2C is still Nr. 1 on Coinmarketcap (%Change 24h).

As you should, it is one of the few that are not a quick ponzi scheme. Actually nextcoin is exactly ponzi. Since there is no way to acquire it other then buy from current holders last one that buys before pyramid collapses loses. That is exactly the definition of ponzi. I think some big government organization recently released a report on bitcoin that described it as a naturally occurring ponzi, or something similar. If an important organization still regards bitcoin as a ponzi, then it no doubt tar all the other alts with the same brush. I don't think bitcoin or Nxt and all the other alts are ponzis, but it's easy to call them ponzis.

I think that none will skyrocket soon. We have to much scam operations, scam features, weeks after weeks to get the high trust required to get real value.
And a lot of people don't have long term perspectives; They hope that a premined ICO will get somewhere after a pump...
It's likely that most premined / ICO coins have no real future, but fair and mature coins may have. But we have a lot of issues; If we look at X11 coins lunched this year most have scam features; darkcoin and the masternode implementation, other have premined, or special blocks, etc...
We had a lot of fair coins in 2013 and before; that are still on the exchanges; We can expect that wisdom may prevail one day.

I guess NEM will have the release in october or november but this is ok for a stone setting coin like NEM, so please be patient like me, too. For me, there are just some coins which are able to rock the sky this year. NEM, EXO and maybe SIM, if you heard about it

LTB, Let'sTalkBitcoin with its Proof of Partecipation will skyrocket in my opinion. It isn't on a big exchange yet and the devs are doing an awesome work with their website, there are alot of interesting podcast and artcles in it.

Probably none, except for pump and dumps which may skyrocket and then crash back down.
But if any do I would guess Bitshares just because its been fairly low profile so far and therefore isn't too expensive, but the BitAssets thing will allow people to hold something with a stable familiar value but still get the advantages of crypto so it may have a good chance of appealing to the general public. Don't see it happening soon though so its probably not for people looking to get a quick profit and then cash out.

....Skyrocket? If you start low enough, then you have a big % return on almost any up move. Some of the "totally hopeless" (or close to hopeless) coins make a Huge % return on a small rally: Leaf BBQcoin TIPS Meow Devcoin Mazacoin
I don't need to convince anyone else, since I'm making really good % gains already.

As you should, it is one of the few that are not a quick ponzi scheme. Actually nextcoin is exactly ponzi. Since there is no way to acquire it other then buy from current holders last one that buys before pyramid collapses loses. That is exactly the definition of ponzi. Thats absolute bull. It sounds like you're implying that simply because you have to buy it from current holders it's a ponzi? Does that mean if there was a rare, limited edition set of 1000 baseball cards distributed amongst 1000 'current holders' and you have a lot of outside interest - because the outside interest could only acquire from 'current holders' it's a ponzi? Seems pretty absurd doesn't it? The only thing that affects the value is buyer and seller perception, pure and simple. As long as people feel a given crypto is viable, it will continue with a price that reflects the current market. NXT or any of these other coins could collapse overnight, but that has nothing to do with a ponzi. I can see how people can confuse the two ideas, but they're not the same.

Bitcoin (kind of obvious), then Monero, (also kind of obvious if you have a clue about the cryptomarket). This is a coin ready to takeoff from the dead end that is Darkcoin.

Viacoin and Ethereum will be the two next biggest things to come to crypto. The platforms will spawn an industry of applications and services built around the decentralized blockchain ideas. Viacoin is already trending up in price and ClearingHouse will be released soon.

I'm liking LibrexCoin even though it's very early in it's life. Good name, solid code, looks great, and if they start rolling out their features they talk about it will sky rocket. IMHO
