Peaceman thanks for the update, I'll send a few votes that way and I will keep voting on Mintpal. I have been with this coin from the beginning. It deserves an exchange and more promotion.

1. We need a faucet. - I will donate 250 Fate to Faucet creation.

2. We need some games. Dice/ poker ETC.... - I will donate 500 fate each for the creation.

3. We need a Fate instructional video.  - I will donate 1,000 fate for a decent video.

4. We need a fair Fate lottery, just because I like them.... - I will donate 500 Fate for a fair lottery with transparency and 1,000 Fate for the first Winner. ( Min. 20 people per lotto, 50 Fate entry, extra goes towards future lottery and host/s )

5. More ideas and development are always welcome.


I am not a dev. just a supporter. PM me if you can do any of the above and show proof. Please don't create something to tear it down. We need supporters of a creative and innovative coin.

I dont understand why devs develop a coin then give it zero support.

Dev hasn't even logged in for ages and doing nothing to promote the coin, looks like its dead in the water to me

Cool, the coin is not dead, just not super popular in the U.S. at this time. Seems a few other countries are mining.

Just contacted  Exarena to see if they will consider adding the coin to their new exchange. The coin just needs good supporters. I think the wallet is stable enough and will continue to work as intended.   Lets look forward to getting the coin onto multiple exchanges.

yeah, I can setup a faucet for this coin. However, I can't compile the sourcecode on github correctly.

Hi,

yeah, I can setup a faucet for this coin. However, I can't compile the sourcecode on github correctly.

I was able to get the daemon to compile with some effort, but since the provided makefiles are missing all references to the scrypt-jane hashing functions it's unable to intialize the blockchain because the genesis block hash doesn't match. Maybe we could try every permutation of scrypt configurations, but it seems pointless to continue until the dev provides the actual source used for the qt-binary. It is a bit fishy, but perhaps he didn't finish uploading the changes to github...

I wish I knew about coin Development more. I'm a hardware guy myself but, Hopefully I can find more information. I'll try to search the Chinese forums for the Dev. Maybe we can get his attention now that the coin is starting to have more interest here.

The official QQ group for FateCoin is 145500086. There's not too many people speaking English there. I've already asked them to help but no answer yet.

Good to see this thread is kind of active again.  Where are the devs?  Seems like the community is doing all the work these days trying to promote and keep this coin alive. Maybe we should take over then.  Anyone know if it's possible to change the algorithm to X11? We can be the first x11 Chinese coin.

What i've been told recently is that they plan to "come back" to the FateCoin and give it more attention - organize some promotion, games etc. Apparently they were too busy dealing with other things e.g. HotCoin (yeap, this are the same people). Hope it will happen sooner or later.

Anyway, I think Fatecoin will do well when either the community of Dav steps up a bit more and we all invest time getting the coin out into the public.

He asked for a donations:
