Well it seems people have abbandoned your pool. I am still here along with my friend *****Wy and ****MG . I had issues with running 5 x 290 - not enough memory under windows (8GB) so I am running agian BAMT 1.3 (low rejects) and I will add more memory tommorow morning. For now your pools seems worth the time. I wil stay for a while more to see how it goes Smiley

Thanks Kokal,

Yeah I'm not sure what happened but there were two users with 50+Mhash between them.. I think they jumped in to test it out but didn't stay long enough to get the most benefits Smiley

As I've said in the past, Our pool is great for pool hoppers since they leave the blocks they've found behind for others to share. Since we use PPLNS to calculate profits, those blocks left behind are equally devided based on shares submitted so as long as others keep mining, their share in the profit goes up and the pool hopper's profit goes down Smiley

We've enabled a few extra coins and the profitability calculations seem to be working great. Today especially is looking good.

I myself just purchased 2 R9 290s and have them on our pool.

Look forward to seeing the results of your efforts tonight.

Right now, I'm just laughing at your estimated payout...

0.02812493 and 0.01964586 respectively.. That's more than double your previous payout so I believe Congratulations are in order for us both.

I'm still working on the profitability calculations because when those high Mhash users hit the pool, we need to only select coins with a higher difficulty.

Please let me know what you think of your performance on the pool today and thanks again for your support Smiley (tell your friends!)

PS, this should help you with your RAM issues:

-I 20 -g 1 --lookup-gap 2 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 32765 --gpu-engine 1005 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-powertune 50

If you still have trouble, drop -I to 19.

Hi altcoinspool, I just started mining on your pool and i realise the Miner Stats page isn't updating anymore. I just want to compare the rate that I am mining at and see whether it is worth to mine here. Smiley

Hey mate,

The stats page won't update until there are confirmed BTC at any of the exchanges. I'm actually going in there now to find out what's going on. You'll notice on the homepage that the graph will show you unexchanged BTC balance.

Since we do a payout around midnight each day (Sydney time), the stats are delayed during that first hour after midnight (now).

Sorry about that and thanks.

Hello All,

Due to the lack of interest in our pool and the lack thereof in demand for a highly available pool with the world's most advanced DDoS protection, we have been forced to shut down the service as we are unable to continue to fund the server costs.

There is already a large number of well established autoswitching, auto-exchanging pools available online so we're going to step aside and let them do what they do.

Our plans are to instead, return in a few weeks (if not sooner) with a new product that will more greatly assist the community. We plan on building a new pool that will no longer autoswitch but will instead, provide a range of ports to mine newly developed coins that are not yet available on other pools.

We feel that this will better serve the community and will assist the developers of these new coins build their user base.

As it has always been, our goals will be:
- High availability
- highly scalable (starting small and growing as the userbase requires it with little to no downtime)
- HONEST AND FAIR! (as we have been and as the stats clearly demonstrate!)

We are still going to be here, answering questions via all existing methods. I will still be answering emails and would love to hear your thoughts on our decision, be they good, bad or otherwise Smiley

For now, We will stop the pool tonight to allow user's cgminers to fail over to your backup pool.

We will not perform a final payout until ALL coins have been exchanged. We don't want to keep ANYTHING and will be sending EVERYTHING on to our users.

Once all coins have been exchanged, a payout will occur and the website will be put into maintenance mode.

Once our new site is launched, we will be back here looking for coin devs we can assist Smiley

With warmest regard for each and every one of you,

Alt (shiny bits)

Thanks Kokal. Thanks for everything! Especially the support.

I didn't want to mention this earlier but now that we've stopped the mining, I'm actually going to pay out every single user in our DB (there's only 25 anyway).

The point is, we are personally going to pay the 0.0001 BTC transaction fee and provide everyone who ever mined with us, their profits. No matter how small.

We're already writing the code for the new system so we hope to help out the new coins ASAP and you'll see me back here then Smiley

Well tommorow I will have 3 working miners:
1st - 5x290 ~ 4100 MH
2nd -5x280x ~ 3500 MH
3rd -5x280x ~3500MH (with one free slot for 6th card)
So if you bring back the pool and you can be as competive as you were last few days (you were 1% lower on payouts compared to wafflepool BTC/MH stats) I will put for sure the 3 machines there. I am now returning to middlecoin.com (testing to see if its fixed) and waiting for your return.

Could you do me a huge favour and check your wallet for your actual payout and let me know exactly how you feel that compares to the other pools ? I'm curious Smiley

Thanks again.

well from your pool altcoinspool.com
on the 5x290 machine
4.3.2014 13:48   0.01270712 (running on windows)
5.3.2014 16:04   0.02812493 (running on BAMT)
6.3.2014 23:27   0.02191966 (running on BAMT)

If the last amount is all the coins left that are confirmed than your stats are lower on that day compared to wafflepool.com

5x280x machine :
2014-03-04 16:27:35   0.01842533
2014-03-05 16:58:16   0.02474728
2014-03-06 16:53:56   0.02700682

I calculated on the 5.3.2014 - your pool had 1% more BTC/MH that day compared to wafflepool.com
