I, and many others, want this coin to succeed. For this to happen there needs to be more than just exchanges. A vibrant community with places to spend your BC is needed and I personally want to make help this happen. I have previously set up the website (http://www.blackcoin.co) and the Social Media accounts that are available right now (http://twitter.com/coinblack).

Since there is no premine there are currently no funds available to set bounty's with. That is why I have opened up a wallet with the following address:

1. Have correct wallet version, open wallet, let it sync.
2. If you have encrypted (which you should), unlock wallet (this is done in debug window=>console tab, instructions posted further up in thread if you don't know how).
3. Leave wallet open, wait for it to stake some coins.
4. Oh - and you need some coins to begin with, matured min 8 hours. In your wallet.

Full disclosure: I have done all the above, hold about 75k, most of it transferred into my wallet 24 hours ago. Have not had any coins stake since unlocking at block 5000. Not yet. Just reporting.

The mandatory questions to the developer are:

1) When do untouched balances stake [days] ?
2) Will all wallets with untouched balances stake ?
3) If the answer to quest#2 is NO then which qualifying wallets will stake?
4) Is the qualification by random selection ?
5) If not all qualified wallets stake, what proportion of the 100,000,000 coins will stake ?
6) When an amount is staked how long will this amount collect interest ?
7) Is the stake interest rate 1% per annum, per 8 hours, etc, etc ?
8. Will locked wallets stake ?
9) Will encrypted wallets stake ?
10) Will unopened wallets stake ?

WARNING: The developer has a duty to clearly outline the POS parameters of his COIN

No one owes you an explanation you ass clown.  You are the one who should do your own research, POS has been explained over and over, and you still want to be spoonfed.

1. Untouched balances are eligible to stake after 8 hours.  When they will actually stake is a matter of random chance, just like finding a PoW block.  But the chance improves the more coins you have and the older the coins are.
2. Eventually it is most likely that they will stake, you will have to be very unlucky not to.

There was no premine, I started mining at 4 min after launch and you could tell no premine by the block height on the wallet. Diff adjusts every block so this coin didn't even give advantage to early miners as hashrate increase follows by an immediately diff increase.

It was probably the fairest launch I've seen. People with balls bought large sums (and still do), multipools started raping this even before exchanges existed - that's what you see in top 100 rich list.

Now go see top 100 BTC rich list and tell me how you feel about that?
