BE VERY CAREFUL WITH HASHFEVER POOLS

They don't payout. Scam pools?

I had a 100mh/s rig on there. Not anymore.

Same problem, and they tend to disconnect my rigs. Where do you switched? (60mh here)

People say they pay out, so you should be fine. I just read about HashFever here and got very scared (mined more than 30k)..

Alternatives:

Greekpool. Registration closed, unfortunately. (That's where I mine, 1.5Ghz)
Trademybit. Registration also closed.
Scryptominers are good.
Use a P2Pool?

I couldn't sleep... I had to rent some more mining rigs, so I rented 17mhps for 12 hours  Cheesy

Where do you rent that and how much is it for 12 hours?
Leaserigs.net, or well it was 15mhps (already had 2)
15mhps costed me 0.085 for 12hours Smiley

I've gotten 1300 after 30min, this means I will get those 0.085 (lets say 4k black) back after 2 hours ~~then it's 10 hours profit Wink
fake site

http://leaserig.net/

I prefer http://www.betarigs.com/

But very very costly. Good profit on renting

http://bc.crypto-coinz.com is honest pool too

Looking forward to see how this coin does once POW stops, I'd like to buy some to add to my mined balance but all my assets are tied up in other coins while I wait for them to rise also Sad

I never knew about these renting sites, looks like a good play for those good at picking new coins.

I'm renting out my rig there right now. That's good to do if you don't have anything in mind to mine. Steady payout !

I second that, the pool is good for sure. I'm using them for now, but seems like their website keeps getting ddos attacks. They seem honest and no shady moves with your coin. Still I have my miners pointed at there servers.

You know what I never really rented any miners as I have my own but for this coin I might consider renting some additional MH/s , I want to throw as much Mh/s at it before it goes scarce - Can someone recommend a site?

Renting is (almost) unprofitable right now. Diff is 100, close to 120. I wouldn't suggest doing that. Just scoop up at 15 and keep until Pos.

Just buy them from the exchange. Theyre cheaper then renting and cloud mining.

Edit: to answer your question: leaserig and betarig

If you check the announcement on their main page, they were moving servers. I've spoke to the owners a few times in their IRC when the coin launched and they seem a decent bunch, friendly and happy to help with problems.

This coin is gonna blow up once people realize they can mine it just by holding it in their wallet  Grin

How does that work exactly though ? I think that needs to be in the OP.

CryptQuest Blackcoin Pool

Here is the deal:

Our target is to reach 150 active workers and at least 200 Mh/s
Once we hit that, every active miner who stays on the pool for the 24 hours after hitting that benchmark will get zero mining fees FOR LIFE.
We have also DOUBLED our already generous 25 BC block finder reward to 50 BC until when we hit our goal.

Join us and spread the word.

We have updated our wallet and are prepared for the hard fork at block 5000
