What I don't understand is why on earth you would be selling your coins at 0.00001300 when 20 mins ago they were being purchased for almost double that amount.
Arbitrage

I think you are a bit confused about the definition of 'arbitrage.'

Yeah which exchange are they buying cheap from to dump on the current one ?

I am blunt, don't like it ? Too bad

You wont win. Dont waste your coins. Its honestly a ploy to get more coins for themselves.

Just to put some things in perspective - after ALL 100,000,000 coins have been mined

$1M market cap : 1740 satoshi
$3M market cap : 5220 satoshi
$10M market cap : 17440 satoshi

MINT peaked $5M+ and has been holding $4M+ stable/rising since the peak.

Also to add, if MintCoin keeps its current value per coin, its market cap will be:

$16.1M when full mined

That I'm aware of, which also makes it painfully obvious which coin is the better buy right now.

How is that obvious?  If it stays the same value it will go to $16.1M, does not mean that you will have more money :p

This is good feedback. What is your suggestion to make it fair to the smaller miners?

Just do 40 random miners for 1k each, it's the fairest way you can do it

or even just 20 randoms for 2k

Maybe choose 40 blocks and give the blockfinder a 1k reward. If someone gets more than 5 of the blocks their 6th one is moved on to the next block until a new winner is found.(most a big miner could win is 5k)

This sounds about right, keeps it pretty flatly fair across the board, but I do see a purpose in rewarding donation %.

Maybe make it so you have to donate x% to be eligible into the random drawing?

Just like that and I would donate too.  Wink Donation would be like lottery ticket.

BitCoin is such a piece of shit. This is the second time I've had a transaction go into limbo, with nothing showing up on the blockchain (I send all my transaction with fees) and now I've missed the 1300 buy opportunity. I sent the transaction over one hour ago and I've done the rescan.  Don't care what BitCoin elitists say, it's a piece of shit crypto. I've never had this issue with others.  Angry

It's cool man Cool

It does need to be fair to both big and small miners, and I didn't take that into account.

Some real good feedback received so far, thank you all Smiley

Two observations about the Richlist link:

1. It doesn't include solo mined blocks for some reason
2. If you change the end of the URL, you can see not just the rich, but everyone's balances!
http://agran.net/bc_getbalance.php?top=5000 - looks like there's about 2400 of us with anything at all Smiley

WOW I just downloaded the wallet. I love to to try to collect some of the rarer ones which I don't have many of so I entered the giveaways as I can't mine on my crappy laptop.  I wonder what the reception for this coin will be in general once it hits exchanges. Will the miners dump for cheap? Or will they make sure it is rare and valuable from the offset? If it's cheap I will be buying more to build my arsenal in BLACK, if rare I will be holding onto every coin I gather.. Grin
