Today might be the last day to get in before this thing really takes off.

10k by the end of the week.

I agree. People got nervous because of CR, so that means this dip is temporary because CR's ability to protect customers is not a reflection of the ability of Blackcoin to be a sucessful coin. In fact, people wanting to steal it and then findings a way to steal it means it is in demand. Sorry for all those that lost coins, but theft is an indicator of demand and is actually a postive sign for the future vaule. Crooks are bad sure, but they are not dumb. I don't see anyone stealing Flappycoin.

'People' didn't 'work out a way to steal' Blackcoin. Registered CR users were presented an inflated balance, through CR's incompetence, and some of those users took advantage of the situation to withdraw more than they should have been allowed to.

Sure, you could probably still classify that as theft, but there was no pre-meditated, organised heist, just simple opportunism. The surrounding caffuffle will bring BC to the attention of more people, which, in the longer term, is a good thing.

Well, it is still theft if they did it on purpose or by accident and now refuse to give them back, but I stand corrected. Thanks for explaining.

My overall point I stand by which is that I think the reaction to CR is what is causing the current dip which makes this a temporary dip (due to proximity and co-occurrence of the two events) because of a one-time issue and therefore...it's a GREAT time to buy. As time passes, the CR Effect will dissipate and the downward pressure will ease allowing the price to climb again.

You are correct, the added attention will be good for the longterm.

I am really devastated now. I lost all my BC in Cryptorush now and most of my online portfolio has been wiped out. Last week I got hacked all my btc now all my BC got stolen from Cryptorush. I don't know if at 48 years old I can keep stomaching these losses. I work hard to collect the coins I do, having someone constantly stealing the bread from my mouth is discouraging. I don't have a job this is the only form of income I can generate from home. I am at breaking point at the moment and on the verge of just giving up.

Honestly, when you are living from it, why don't you keep your damn coins safe? Is there any reason to store more online than you need for daytrading? No, there is not.
Really, people LEARN FINALLY. This is virtual currency ANYTHING that's online can be stolen easily especialy when you trust holes like cryptorush who don't even can effort a proper website!

I know this does not help you, but how many news have you read about coins getting stolen online?

That's sad how many did u lose Sad

All my BlackCoin..I was just about to remove them this morning to put on cold wallet after they did the first maintenance but found here that there was a mass theft or WITHDRAWAL and unfortunately lost over 3k coins so I really am out of my depth with all this. Was hoping to save enough coin to be with my Son but I don't see it happening now.

Although I am sorry for your losses I have to agree with Jherek .... there is no such thing like a safe online exchange. MintPal is great, but it can be hacked too if its interesting enough.

Lost all of my 5000 BC from the CR incident. What a sad day... Cry

Was trying to get the Mac wallet working on my computer, but now it's too late. Can anyone spare a few coins to get me back on my feet? Had to setup a mint pal account.

I lost too. 4.8k coins, all I had, which are a lot for a small player like me.

I tried to withdraw my BC's since the moment it went back online, after wallet update.
Didn't see any double amount, it's all a big scam.

I guess I'm out of the game, too deep fall.....

Anyway good luck to you guys, it seems you have a great community,
I really hope you all got your coins safe in any other place than CR.

This exchange should be under attack 24hs, with no possibility to function and steal money.

I too feel for those that have lost out. But. You say you lost 3k coins. Do you mean 3k worth of coins, or 3k coins ? 3k coins, at the current rate, is under 100 euros. That's quite a difference.

there was no double payouts on cr, total bullshit of the highest caliber. Mintpal has worked flawlessly, I have all my coins in cold storage now just incase of an issue but its highly unlikely. Cryptorush is an ugly clunky site from the 1990's and the owner is a complete retard and thief, let it die. Rat4 you have my fullest confidence and support.

No sad story but just from an old saying "If it sounds to. good to be true."

I thought something sounded terribly wrong with the price listed. 0.008BTC for 1 BC.

Yeah I tested the waters knowing something didn't sound right. So I sent 50 BC to set at 0.1000BTC per BC since that was the lowest sell price. I thought no way I would get 5BTC, but hell it is worth a shot.

Kinda like when MtGox had BTC prices way lower than everyone else. And people thought to sent money to buy BTC low and sell it at the higher prices at other exchanges.

And no I don't want 50 BC sent to me. It was a lesson I knew would never happen. I should have listened to my self, "If it sounds too good to be true........."

Hopefully everyone who actually lost their coins some how makes the loss back.

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

or because the moment the site went back up the wallet was instantly emptied by accounts that all now have a negative balance.

I will remove most of what I have now form exchanges of what bit coins I have left or just convert to btc and cash out. I will just keep a few of the good coins in wallets..It's not much anymore but better than losing it all I guess.

I lost 3k of coins and for me that is a lot because I had to work for these coins.. what s little to one person is a lot for another. It's all relative. also many know me I am a blogger that is how I earn my coins. I don't have a job and this is what I am trying to do t etch a small living. I am NOT lazy..I work for my coins my blog is bitbillions dot net.. I do giveaways as well so am not here asking for any donations..you can check who i am through my blog.. I don't hide my identity..my fb is elleyan as well. Also anyone wanna verify my identity they can skype me too! I hate when I have been scammed lol to be myself called a scammer.
