So are they committing to buying 1.5 million BC to reimburse their customers? That will be a nice boost for us.

If they dump we can buy low and sell high. Not me. Selling now is selling low. Besides I like to see the Mining icon come up with $$$$ *ka-ching* *ka-ching* for someone who has never mined before, this is a blast

I've had at least 1m/hash pointed at the pool for the last 30 or so hours, but most of the time up to 2m/hash.
Yesterday I logged on briefly with my wallet address and I got a tiny bit of info which was at least enough to indicate that something was happening. Since then I've heard about changing wallet addresses but I'm unable to do that from where I am. If I log in now using the same credentials as yesterday, I get told that the address isn't in use.
I've since made a new address and have started mining with it, but it's also still not showing up.
Is this normal? Has anyone had any payout from the pool yet?

http://www.twitch.tv/hackshardgamingThe devs of cryptorush are doing a q and a about the issues over the past couple days... They are doing it whilst playing diablo and having a go at people asking them questions. They are deleting people from the channel who ask questions they do not like... This is bs

Landing higher after 24 hours where 1.5 million stolen and 1/3 exchanges trading being shut down and mintpal losing DB connections is mind blowing.

Any idea why the price of BC is not going higher for two one full day now? Do you think it is only because of the BC stolen at cryptorush or something more? It seems to me that stalling started before the news of stolen BC emerged, which would mean this is inrelated... and so that the price might very well not go higher.
Your idea?

The price goes up because of the multipools buying it. They all stopped to sort their code issues out, it stalled it a bit and then the cryptorush selling took place and buying carried on to take advantage of cheaper pries, keeping it in balance.

I think this kind of regrouping and settling is really good to see. Nothing is a constant upward march every day of the year. More stability breeds more confidence, which brings more merchants, which breeds more confidence. It's quite surprising that the price didn't take a much larger hit on the order of 50-70% given what happened today. Not that it matters if you're holding for the long term and believe in the basic principles behind the coin. But I think 1-2 days of relative price stability is a fantastically good signal from the market, not the other way around.

I think this kind of regrouping and settling is really good to see. Nothing is a constant upward march every day of the year. More stability breeds more confidence, which brings more merchants, which breeds more confidence. Looks like confirmation bias to me. Nothing personal (actually, the fact that the post is from you makes me give it more credit), but I've seen the damages of confirmation bias before. Once bitten, twice shy, as they say. It's quite surprising that the price didn't take a much larger hit on the order of 50-70% given what happened today. But I think 1-2 days of relative price stability is a fantastically good signal from the market, not the other way around. I'll take you word. I am not convinced but you seem to have a much better understanding of markets than me, so I will follow you despite my concern over possible confirmation bias.

No one is saying not to be cautious but a market gaining 4% after the day we had today is simply astonishing.
