If you like the idea of the price for BC going up every day then just deal with the small payouts. Just imagine if this trend continues(which I suspect it will as long as people point thier hashes at the multipool) and in a few months you are saying OMG only 10 coins a week for 50 Mghashz when the coins are 10 dollars a piece. 100 a day doesn't seem too bad does it?

Just checked my wallet... 100 BC from over 36 hours of mining at 2440khs? You've got to be kidding me. I'm pulling my rig and I'll trade manually.

I don't get ppl like this.. It allmost is like you expect to get more out of mining these days lol. All shit coins destroyed the market. If you DO find a gem, like BC, you'd better move all-in. I for instance own a few BC and mine the pool. I don't mine because it's profitable. I mine for the long haul. I don't care about Kh/s - BTC ratio. I care in protecting my investment and accumulating coins along the way. This is a nice bonus. Not my core-business in this coin. My core business is pumping the value gradually, and it did exactly this for me.

In general: IF YOU DON'T GET THE BUSINESS MODEL, AND DON'T CARE TO READ UP ON IT, GTFO, DUMBSHIT. You tell me, you're making 2 BTC with a 2.2Mhs rig in 2 weeks?

I'm confident this coin will overcome dumps. It's too valueable to kill. Whales are accumulating by pumps/dumps. All wanting to participate in these swings, will eventually loose out in the long run if they are not the aggressor.
Cosidering that payout are one pre 24h....
That 100BC is not bad... this is 0.003 BTC per Mhs day not best result but nor worst....
but if you try other multipool they have also better and worst days...
Somedays i was paid 0.002...0.003...0.005 BTC per mhs...Times when price was 0.02-0.01 died with Doge bro. ^^
If you go search then you will see that multipools have many problems with paymants
middlecoin paid sometimes for 4mhs ..0.001BTC./Day > TRUE...
Look at their forum is full of that paymant issues...
In comparison to that BCmooltipool is still in beta they are tweaking all time and they have not bad resoults.
Just look on coinwarz what is happening...al POW coins are in deep shit right now.

what shit bank are you with?

a good term deposit will be like 5-6% at least.. minimum 3% or so for a normal 'good' savings account..

Why in god's name are you people dumping below 8000? You may as well just throw your coins away at this rate. Hold. The problem lies with Cryptorush, not Blackcoin - the multipool hasnt even left beta yet so give it time to kick in - and we are due to break out here - several ups and down today, all between 7600 and 8350, next time we go up we keep going up until a new floor is established. Hold.

If you keep dumping your greed for buying back lower will decrease the value of each coin to the point where it will be VERY hard to get back up to 9000+. Show some damn backbone and keep your coins in your wallet for a bit and let buy pressure build up a bit. It's all well and good to day trade, I do it too, but eventually you have to be careful you're not causing damage to your investment e.g. Mintcoin dumping, Karma dumping, Doge dumping day on day.

The problem is becuse till last days buys were mostly done from sell side and buy suport wasn't so relevant. That pattern caused that now big players can put sell wall and make few 'panic' sells to cause panic and without equaly strong buy wall it's easy to make them significant drop from which they can collect cheaper BC's.
How resiliant BC is we saw in fast recovery from each panic 'bad news' drops. Anyway CrypoRush played their game, and we are going on, no one stole BC's but them, or at least they were aware of problem and let sheet happend, so let them eat the dust. And to whoever trade there again after final withdrowal I can only say that is stupid as much some of their staff/owners are greed.
To daytrade downpullers I can only say look at the fantastic UTC. Ultrafast coin with strong community went from 0.001 to 0.00015 and who knows when if ever will come back.
Other, more likely, thing could be that CR with stolen BC's caused 'panic' sale just to collect them more lower than it was and make theatral come back with style in a way that they'll compensate their users for stolen coins. If we are looking in that scenario then we'll see some more huge 'panic' dips today as I saw they said they'll compensate in 24-48hr hours. Anyway current price already leaving the gap for them to do that.

I am considering move my money to just-dice.com for the time being. People keep saying "don't worry, it will get better". No thanks, I saw what delusion does with mintcoin.

Do some maths. I made 1.5BTC profit with a .5 buy in. Interest? 300% + 1% lol. In 2 weeks... You do that on your long-term bank? If i need money, i sell some BTC. If you'd need your money, you'd have to pay to get it out of your bank before blocked period ends. Anyway, have fun investing in your bank.

I won't even dignify ur second remark with an answer, if you still don't get what i'm saying, you're not capable of it probably.

Mint is different coin if you look from distance on both.
You will see much more differences.

Premine - 0 premine
1% inflation vs 20% inflation
Pure POS vs POS/POW with POS Dystybution...

In long run rise potential is goes to 0 premine coins mostly.
At beginig BC started without so many fans and people working on BC success every day someone is joinig this is rise value over time.
Premined coins looks better at beginig they are promoted they have hired PR guys on forum in many cases those coins want just pump value and release some premine on pump.
Note that most successful coins like BTC,LTC,VTC,DOGE,DRK - aren't premined this is meaning something. In same time PANDA...even Mint after that pump to 90sat cannot woke up after pump...
NXT with bad distribution is eating it karma all time because of that...

In same time you lok at BC:
-rising community
-pump dump fast recovery
-active Dev
-few disasters survived without scratch (Radio leaving, CR crash and FUDs…)
-price chart have own unique trend separate totally from BTC,LTC…

Find me second coin like BC today now without premine which is doing similar ? ^^
I guess there isn’t any so far.

You can go dice too there is always option.
BTW BTC droped from 30$ to 1$ ^^... today from other point of view who cares about that...
soon who will cares about exchange crash...those who affraid fuds are left those who are beliving in BTC they hold and buying it takes time to buy their shares.
Same with BC to eat that stolen BC it will take some time but those BC will be eaten.
IF cr will buy back BC price will be pumped anyway.

backup wallet and try use commands like repair-wallet rescan ext to get rid of bugs. // comands in console
Run bc client in win xp compatibility mode if needed as administrator
And run 1.0.5 version

how does one know if a wallet is synched?

I just downloaded blackcoin-qt from blackcoin.co. then I sent my blackcoins from mintpal to that wallet. now what? are they safe? I don't know what a qt or blockchain is...all I see is the wallet window that shows balance/stake/unconfirmed on the left in a box and recent transactions on the right. Is that it?

Also how do you backup the wallet? I clicked the backup button from the drop down and found it in my "downloads" file on my computer. I just see some file name like blackcoinwallet.dat that I can't open. What am I supposed to do with that?

What happened to it? I'm still learning how to 'read' these exchanges. It flashed in red and the disappeared. What does that mean?
