I never said blackcoin wallet didn't have the staking feature, only mentioned that Mintcoin has it now.

Ok, my bad. It seemed to suggest that as a reason to leave Blackcoin for Mint and I didn't read closely enough.

I gotta be honest here, I only posted in this thread because we have been getting trolled hard by a few members of BC community. Mr. Random, Alphaminer(same person I believe) and now Geode. I read a few pages back and saw that Geode proposed going on the mintcoin thread and telling people to sell and buy blackcoin. The community here shot him down pretty hard. I'm sorry, I didn't read that before I posted. My apologies.

Yeah, it's hard to control every member of a community. A lot of us try to discourage this behavior. It would be best for every coin if we didn't have to fight trolls in our own coin threads. But people see trolls in their own threads and decide the best way to deal with it is to troll back. That just starts a troll cascade. I have no problems with MINT.

So let's build BC...get vendor acceptance...promote BC's features. Contribute on the community projects portal - there was a nice idea thrown out over there this weekend. If we do those things, BC will reach the heights we believe it is capable of.

Also I like MintPal's UI. It just looks so clean. They also donated 50K BC to our Coinkite cause. This is a very interesting situation since I'm sure MintPal doesn't want to get involved in the politics of this situation. Probably trying to figure out what to do since this is unprecedented.

I suspect they'll give us at least one BC pair. They've certainly heard from the community about it.

I don't think that Mintpal allows staking. So yes, you would be losing out on staking rewards by storing your coins at Mintpal (and as you hopefully know it's never a good long term idea to store coins on an exchange)

The story remains the same, only the players change from time to time. Every weekend and downtrend we see an influx of trolls and FUD artists polluting this thread. Check post histories and their intentions are crystal clear: These people are almost always strong supporters of competing coins. We're top 10. The new hotness. Everybody wants a piece of our market cap.

Despite this, I believe that as a community it is in our best interest to show NO retaliation in their forum threads. Actions like that reek of desperation and only breed bigger, stronger enemy trolls that end up right back here. Defend our thread if it must be done, but there is no reason for desperation. There is no need to attack coins that will never touch the success Blackcoin has had and will continue to have. Blackcoin is always classy, always respectful. Blackcoin is never desperate and we ALWAYS win.

The subreddit is a superior platform for our web community. Because content on the subreddit depends on community consensus (much like crypto!) there is a much higher signal to noise ratio. It is far easier there to work together on continuing to build value in Blackcoin. The community there has become very active in the past two weeks as the subscriber base has tripled! I'm not advocating that you abandon Bitcointalk, do like I do and keep a tab for each.

I agree to stop inciting the trolls, I hate trolls but I never went to any topic shitcoin for post any retaliation. We do not need this kind of thing, they are desperate and not us, our currency (Blackcoin) has big developers, big investors, large acceptance even an airplane factory accepts Blackcoin, This is not really that wonderful? Please anyone post the aircraft manufacturer that accepts Blackcoin here again ! There is nothing to worry about if I have to say something to defend BC I do it here. DDoS attack again. This time they tricked one of the pool devs, pretending to be a miner, so that they got the IP address they needed to get around the DDoS protection. So the pool has put in place the DDoS protection plan again, but it'll take a few hours for the change to propagate through DNS.
