No banks will stay even with the presence of cryptocurrency because they have different functions and banks has so many transactions they offer car, housing and wben business loans to help people in their financial and they can also pay their bills through banks so i think it will remain.

This really what I keep on asking myself since we all know that cryptocurrency dominates the bank as time pass by. I wonder will it result to total collapse of bank industry?

Feel free to drop your comments here.thanks
For me , i dont think that banks will dissapear because of cryptocurrency because even if some of us like to invest in crypto there are still other who are still in doubt on investing so they prefer banks than crypto. But we dont know what will happen in the future that is just my opinion.

I think that banks will never disappear, despite the fact that the cryptocurrency is gaining huge strength in the world, I think that most likely they will act together, so to speak to cooperate

I do not think, that Banks will disappear completely. Because there are a lot of ICOs, that are going to open up a crypto currency bank. I think there still will be a space for centralised banks in the future, but the leading roll will go to crypto currencies.

Barely anyone is actually using crypto currencies to pay for stuff, aside from gambling.  Everyone else just wants their investment to grow so they can get more cash.  And when they get that cash, they will put it in a bank.  Also here, a bank is the only way to get a loan and mortgage, and most people don't save much anyways.

Certainly not in the near future, in my opinion, most people do not want to accept cryptocurrency as something full-fledged and are wary of this, banks have exactly ten years left to reserve. And who uses it now do it because of the profits, although many keep for the future

It seems to me that not everyone understands what and how it will develop, maybe everything will be just like in films with a good ending, but everything can be very, very bad, because banks simply will not give power to cryptocurrency and machines.

The banks will not collapse because they will make their own way to survive the crisis. Remember that Ripple is already there that is designed for the banks to use in transactions. Stellar Lumen is also available that wants to be a competitor of Ripple.

No, I don`t think so. Of course, crypto will change the banks, but they will survive and become cryptocurrency banks. They will use some specialized coins like Ripple and Stellar for transactions.

I think it's likely that vank will not disappear because of cryptocurency. this is because all traders will need to transfer from digital money to real money for a day so that the bank will facilitate it.

No banks will not disappear but they will embrace the technology. Banks will make use of crypto to make more profits and safe itself some cost. It will be unwise of banks to throw off crypto. We can now see banks using xrp to make transactions and to save remittance cost. Blockchain will transform every financial part of our society.
As my friend always say crypto will do to banks what email did to post office.

Cryptocurrency is really a threat to banks whether they accept it or not. For them not to perish they should adapt and use the blockchain technology to their advantage. They good thing for some of the banks is that they are already adapting it just like what you have said with xrp.

As my friend always say crypto will do to banks what email did to post office.
I think this would not happen as aforementioned, if they want to exist they should adapt cryptocurrency and the blockchain technology.

I don't think so. Banks will not disappear but they will have to adapt to changing technology and somehow get used to crypto currencies and implement them into their system. We will have to wait and see what happens. I'm 90% sure that crypto is here to stay And Banks will do anything to stay alive

I think that banks will only be taken a new shape by cryptocurrencies but won't disappear. No need to dream. Capitalism doesn't easily lose or leave its position.

It’s hard for me to imagine a situation where banks, which so persistently assert that BTC and all cryptocurrencies are just fiction and deception and nothing more, will use cryptocurrencies in the future as a means of payment, it’s hard to imagine, but it will be a reality.

Any hypothesis can be possible. Who knows after banks disappear, we will have a new kind of "bank" in the crypto world?

The battle for the adoption of cryptocurrencies is a battle over the minds and hearts of the masses.

No one has to convince any Bitcointalk member that electronic money is the wave of the future.  We already know.

Crypto hasn't taken off yet for several reasons:
1.) People love their existing slavery.
2.) People are brainwashed to accept authority rather than question it.
3.) The banks and corporations are blackwashing crypto and scaring people with propaganda and lies.
4.) The powers that be have been in control for close to 5000 years now (and probably a lot longer than that;) and they are not going relinquish this power without a lot of death and destruction.
5.) No one has invented yet a universal app that runs on a cell phone that makes buying and selling crypto simple so anyone can do it.
6.) People are broke.  The middle classes are being wiped out in order to continue to prop up the lifestyles of the 'families'.  Most will hold on to their dollars until they are absolutely convinced a change is coming, with most holding dollars until it is too late to profit.  This will keep the dollars flowing slowly into crypto, and then all at once.  Chaos will ensue and the 'new' rich will rise up.

Banks are our enemy.  They hate us and will genocide people to prevent their loss of power and control.  Crypto is the silver dagger in the heart of the vampire banking system but it will likely take several generations before true freedom starts to emerge.
