Will banks disappear because of cryptocurrency?

not. because whenever the bank will remain because the paper currency will continue to be used in the future even though many people use crypto in this world. so the bank will still exist even though the crypto currency has been used by people in this world

Agree, banks still needed. Many people still dont have access to internet and its make banks still needed by most people. If development of blockchain growing fast and adapting in current system, i think cryptocurrency will be favorite investment in the future

I definitely think that banks will disappear over time, it might be a while but banks are definitely a thing to go. Everything is moving online and we will have a different system of 'banks' maybe someone teaching another person how to utilize crypto lol

Banks also do the online thing so It think they will last for good. We know that bansk also growing, and it adopts new technologies like blockchain. Its a matter of time before all the banks adopt blockchain, and this will make them more stronger.

Of course not. Banks will always be there because its already part of the society. Besides, its not crypto's goal to replace banks rather it provides options and reinforcements for the banks.

I don't think they will. For as long as there is fiat which serves as a reference for the cryptocurrency, they might be able to continue since profit is still there. If everything will turn upside down, for example cryptocurrency will be the main currency and fiat will be less used or conversion to fiat will be less significant, perhaps it will be the time when banks will have to close for fiat. But certainly will operate on cryptocurrency mode. Which could mean that they will be staying for centuries until may be when the whole system and the human existence will be technologically advance to accept no more of any fiat currency. For it will less likely to happen that banks will be gone.

We see JP Morgan launching its own cryptocurreny (JPM). They are doing this so that they will not disappear. Banks are getting aware of the potential in crypto so I think they will find a way to integrate it into their services. This is why I believe they will still exist for the time being

Well, I think the opposite banks are now many take the technology of the blockchain and be better , then the banks will die, I certainly doubt it since they created was long and hardly something will replace them

I think at later stage cryptocurrency will be threat to banks, and all government banks might introduce their own crypto currency, but certainly, future is blockchain, the other banks must prepare to overcome such threat.
