So if someone invests 2 BTC will they get their fair share that is the justified equivalent to 2 BTCs worth of Heavycoin and not at some ridiculous starting price.

Yes, from http://heavycoin.github.io/launch.htmlThe 5,000,000 HVC will be distributed among the IPO investors proportional to how much BTC they have invested. There is no limit on investment. For example, if there were only two investors, Alice and Bob, and Alice invests 1 BTC and Bob invests 0.25 BTC, then Alice would get 80% (4M HVC) and Bob would get 20% (1M HVC).

Thanks for your vote of confidence and becoming part of Heavycoin! I'll PM you your IPO stake details in a minute. Let's not forget that this is actually a coin by a member that has been around for a while. Not some new scam account. I think this is one of the best IPOs until now!

Can you explain more about the voting?
So after launch, i can vote if i have HVC in my wallet? 2 HVC = 2 votes, or 1 wallet 1 vote?

Can you explain more about the voting?
Sure. Each time you mine a block you automatically cast a vote about what you think the next block reward should be. Every 3600 blocks (~5 days), the votes over the past 3600 blocks are averaged and rounded to the nearest integer. This value becomes the new block reward, which lasts for another 5 days. There are different phases to voting and in these phases the block reward votes affect different aspects of the money supply, such as how fast it is mined or what the maximum total money supply will be. For example, during the Limit phase, if you want the final total money supply to be as small as possible (e.g. 63M), then you'd mine Heavycoin while voting for zero block rewards. On the other hand, if you wanted a larger final money supply, you could vote for the maximum block reward of 1024 HVC. Regardless of voting, the total money supply is always capped at 128M HVC. The full details on voting are described here: http://heavycoin.github.io/about.html#decentralised-votingFor instructions on How to vote and screenshots of the voting UI see: http://heavycoin.github.io/voting.htmlSo after launch, i can vote if i have HVC in my wallet? 2 HVC = 2 votes, or 1 wallet 1 vote?
Voting is not based on your wallet or balance.

Voting is not based on your wallet or balance. Interesting Idea.. I like it! CPU only -- does that mean my GPU cant mine them?

eh, one more coin to be devoured by botnets. such a pity Valid issue. Way to counter this? +1 - looking to hear dev comments how you going to prevent instamine by botnet owners? Look at PTS for example - most of which 1M was rapidly mined by botnets.

A CAPTCHA for example?
