I suggest you to analyze and do research on the following altcoin:
1.Neo
2.Monero
3.Dash
4.Docademic
5.Litecoin
6.Stellar lumens
7.Ada Cardano
you can choose from 7 altcoin, you just need data and confidence.

If you really want to know and to choose on what coins you must hold, go to the coinmarketcap or install blockfolio for you to check and know what is the right coin you must hold to and what is the best coin that will increase very much in the future.

In my opinion coins in general cannot be stored long. It is the same money which lie at you in a box and which are eaten by inflation. It is better to take cryptocurrency and to trade in it at the exchanges.

In the long term you can consider purchase of EOS or Cardano. They show rather good results of growth. And already summon trust.

I'm not sure that the time has come for buying alternative coins for long-term storage. It seems to me that the market is not yet stable and the bearish trend has not ended.

Now there is a lot of promising cryptocurrency. I'm holding EOS, PUNDI X, WAVES, XRP. These coins have good technology in the financial sphere. The main thing is the technology that will be in demand in the future.

For me it's a good thing to hold coins because we know that the market value is not stable any time it can increase. so always keep an eye on the market to know when to invest and you should know when to sell altcoins.

Obviously BTC is the main coin to hold currently. Will this ever change, who knows? With price predictions for BTC, in next 5 years, being mentioned by so call experts at $250,000 per 1 BTC, you would do well to hold onto whatever BTC you have if you believe what some of the so called experts are predicting.

There are many good coins to hold for long period of time but its hard to predict right now because we see the market is almost all are turning red. Much better to hold the main coin which is bitcoin what ever happen you have a choice to full out easily or buy other coin because in bitcoin you can do what ever you want. and im also very bullish on https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3203837.80 Cheesy

You can hold everything I suppose. But the profitability of each coin is so particular so that it the major case to choose right ones. BTC and NEO look like pretty.

If we talk about holding, the majority will name the coins from the top ten by capitalization, such as LTC, EOS, XLM and others. But you can look closely at the little-known coins, because the probability of large x there is much higher

Based on these different types, I am listing a few cryptocurrencies that I think are worth holding because of their bright future and also to earn passive income in the form of dividends. These are Neo, Neblio, Privcy ,DeepOnion and Staker.

if you have large enough capital then you can invest by buying ETH, NEO and XRP coins. I think you will be safer because if there are coins that are less potential then you still have hope on other coins. and if all three coins rise, you can get big profits.
but if your capital isn't too big, in my opinion it's better to hold an ETH.

You can hold the coin top 10 of the cryptocurrency. These coins are the very stable price and the potential for the short term in my opinion ( ETH, EOS, XLM ).

I just do not suggest you choose the eth for long holding, it is not the correct coin for it. Just choose the lower altcoins in top of the market, they would to be good for long term hold.

I would not invest in many altcoins today. On September 30, something must necessarily happen with the top 10: the next decision about bitcoin ETF. I "threw" all my capitals into ETH and BTC. To the moon soon, IMHO.
