I bought some Litecoin when the price was on it's way up. The price took a dive but I've been holding them in the hope they will recover to their former glory. This doesn't appear likely to happen any time soon, would I be better off selling them now and limiting my losses and investing elsewhere or do you think it's likely to achieve a higher price in the long term? All advice appreciated.

I think Litecoin will recover at the same pace as all other cryptocurrencies will do. I really think it is possible that Litecoin will reach the last year level of prices. It doesn't seem possible that the market will continue to fall.

Do you think Lightening on BTC will have a profound affect on the Litecoin price? I think it could demolish it.

It's better to sell your Litecoin to cut losses, because I see Litecoin difficult to recover, you better do another analysis to pay for your defeat on litecoin, I suggest Ethereum for you to hold long term.

I think yes, but it will take time and process long enough. at this time we will never see good growth for all altcoin if bitcoin does not grow fast. as happened a few days ago when bitcoin grows fast. there are some altcoins that follow it grow. this can happen again in the next few days. so I just hope for the current growing bitcoin.

I see some progress from Litecoin. The market also looks like it has taken a few steps to go up which should also be a great opportunity for you, so when the Bitcoin price goes up a bit higher you will be able to see some proceeds from your investment in Litecoin.

There is always hope, crypto currencies are long-term investments, including litecoin. You only need to be patient and wait at least until mid-autumn. Bitcoin has slowly begun to rise, and usually other altcoins will be followed, no need to be sad.

I assume the coins that actually have utility and purpose will recover.  The news is very good for Bitcoin and crypto in general.  This dump is a blood bath but I highly doubt this is the end.  Litecoin will recover a few weeks after Bitcoin.

Although it is difficult to predict but I am sure Litecoin will experience price increases, not only litecoin but all the coints for the time being are indeed down, wait for the market to rise again and all coints will increase as well

Litcoin will be everlastingly in our side without a doubt. I mean it won't go down later on. It is incline and take after the estimation of bitcoin meaning if the estimation of bitcoin builds the estimation of litcoin increment also. Litcoin will recoup later on its absolutely impossible if the litcoin goes down and the bitcoin increment.

I can not say with certainty what it is and so on ... But if you find it, this criterion is very familiar to me, although I myself have long been in this structure. Smiley Cheesy

I didn't see any development from litecoin team. So there is no chance of recovery. If you are in loss hold it and wait for good time. Remember, crypto always give us chance.

Mostly people including me advice you to hold, there is really no use of selling it. I have also Litecoin and good other alt coins, just holding them as no use of selling it, as hoping it will improve definitely some one day near.

I've heard something about the fact that the Litecoin team  together with the creator started the system of payment via Telegram messenger. It will be interesting to know more about this.

litecoin was in the top even before eth, and compare to the price at that time, even in this bear market, it is that bad,
sadly lots of people invested when it's price was too high.
I think it still has a chance to recover, but other coins are very strong too.

if we can be patient waiting for sure there will come a time when litecoin prices can rise higher than the price when you buy, because litcoin is included in the best coin category at the moment so stay calm and wait.

Current value Litecoin is a questionable metric for valuation, it mirrors the inclination of financial specialists. On the off chance that they keep on investing in prevalent new tasks, LTC prospects will wind up unclear. The last time the cryptonomete showed a genuine increment to the dollar, when there showed up an expectation for mass utilize on account of LitePay.

this amusement includes tolerance, LTC more than most. It's anything but a pump and dump shitcoin like 99% out there. With LTC you are getting a real venture. Offer and you will think twice about it, I have seen this multiple occasions, do what you should however you have been cautioned. In case you're searching for brisk increases then you have to go somewhere else, in case you're searching for a decent speculation, you are in the opportune place.

For me Litecoin like Bitcoin is a future coin, a coin which will be with us in the future.
We all know bitcoin is being used more as a store of value and is being 'spent' less.
Litecoin will be the spendable coin.

I compare bitcoin and litecoin to Gold and FIAT. We dont go to a shop to buy goods
with Gold we use FIAT same with Bitcoin and Litecoin, Litecoin will be the spendable
coin IMO.
