the truth is shitcoins will be die,,but, not for a solid altcoins such as ethereum, eos, iota and others
so, just collect more a good altcoins when the price down
Agree with your comments. Now ETH is declining as Bitcoin prices increase in late July hoping that I will buy ETH for $ 400 in the next few days. Investors are buying Bitcoin a lot, and I think people should do so

I don't think so Smiley. Last year Bitcoin price suddenly increased to nearly $20k but all altcoins were fine Smiley. This time nothing will change and altcoin will wait until BTC complete increasing then it'll be the ere of altcoin Smiley). No need to worry too much about it, we just need to wait and believe in altcoin Smiley.

no altcoins will not die because of bitcoin ETF and they won't survive just in case ETF was rejected! and ETF won't bring any big institutional investor anyways.

although what will happen is that with ETF and its hype we will see a big rise, possibly a proper bitcoin rally which leads to altcoin dumps become faster and that can make the altcoin market healthy again since they would reach their bottoms and there will be no more altcoin bubbles anymore so we can see the altcoin pumps start again and that is a very good news.

Shitcoins and scamcoins could dissapear, but the rest of the legit altcoins will stay in the market sooner or later they will recover and they'll start following the btc uptrend, it's always been like this. People are simply dumping alts so they can enter the btc market since it's the only one looking bullish right now and it's giving people the opportunity to make good profits in the short-term (if the trend continues). All in all, alts will not dissapear because of big money entering the btc ecosystem, eventually, investors will start pouring capital in the altcoin market as well.

There is always a possibility that an altcoin can die anytime. And I think the bull run might cause some altcoins to grow since some of them really depends on the price of bitcoin. If an altcoin have a bad project development behind it, then it will surely die. Meanwhile, if the team continues to support their coin, the swing of bitcoin might cause that coin to push further as well. We we're able to notice this last 2017.

If altcoin can die just because of Bitcoin price increasing so I think it happened last year already Smiley. I don't think this case can happen cause Bitcoin price can't keep increasing till the end of this year Smiley. It'll rise back to around $15.000 then it'll be turn of altcoin to rise. If Bitcoin rise directly to $50k so I think the only cryptocurrency can survive is BTC and everyone will quit this market Smiley.

Hi, crypto enthusiasts!
I am thinking about recent situation on the crypto market. It seems that Bitcoin found the bottom and big investments are coming, but if you look at altcoins, almost every altcoin is bleeding and money is now moving into Bitcoin. Current Bitcoin dominance 47%!
Don´t you think that this could be end for many altcoins? Big institutional investors will not invest into altcoins...
What is your opinion.
Thank you!

No, it is normal for altcoins to bleed once the bitcoin price starts to rise. Once bitcoin price became stable and increased, the altcoin price will start recovering, investors will buy back on altcoins. Some altcoin might die, especially those who have no working product or no real purpose.

Bitcoin gaining 47%  out capital market does not in anyway make the altcoin market to bleed cause has already gain the higher percent of market capital right from the beginning and every altcoin thats is bleeding right now definitely don't have the right utility anymore cause the game in the market automatically changed right after the market correction. Besides, the Chinese manipulation is not helping the altcoin market either.

Or... "Bitcoin (BTC) ETF Hype Could Be A Whale Ploy To Lower Altcoin Prices Before The Next Rally". See https://cryptodaily.co.uk/2018/07/bitcoin-btc-etf-hype-could-be-a-whale-ploy-to-lower-altcoin-prices-before-the-next-rally/
Yes and no. Yes, because the prices are really low now (compare to btc) and they're still dropping like crazy.
No, because the Bitcoin will gain the power firstly, than (maybe) altcoins... we will see.

I think it's natural, because when the price of bitcoin goes up, the altcoin will go down. and after the bitcoin price stabilizes, altcoin prices will rise slowly.

ETF is now a days hot topic in crypto market and because of this hype we are able to see hike in market after couple of months.
ETF is something connected with secure investment that means there will no chances of loss and if it happens the that company will handle it. This is a very important factor which will bring millions of user to crypto as they will not have fear to invest in crypto due to its volatile nature.

The correct market hype depends on Bitcoin so altcoins are fastly growing in this moment but totally abnormal in market because Bitcoin is moving faster than altcoin so many investors are confused in this scenario. I hope market is positive in Bitcoin so others are growing in soon but still some peoples are buying altcoin so both are good growing platform.

They will all rise because ETF is also good for altcoins, when capital flow into bitcoin those investors will also be interested in altcoins, that may be only true for the short term.

Many alts will die if the ETF will be approved but the biggest alts will stay calm and can still ride the hype.

While bitcoin will soar and that's a given and solid belief by most of the crypto enthusiasts.

study the history of encryption. u will find a rule. Bitcoin just started to rise. altcoin's performance is not very good. as long as Bitcoin is stable. altcoin will break out and their growth rate far exceeds the growth rate of bitcoin

I agree with your thoughts. If the ETF accepts Bitcoin, then altcoin will benefit greatly if that happens. Everyone is thinking negative for altcoin but I do not because every day there are new altcoin appear with much better technology than Bitcoin and Ethereum. Keep in mind only the new altcoin can help you become rich in this market

Yes, right now the bitcoin is having the majority of dominance in the cryptocurrency market and i believe that right now every investor are selling their altcoins and moving their investment from altcoins to Bitcoins and because of this the altcoins are under big panic fall and many altcoins are near to washout Zero price level. Many low-value coins will soon wipeout from the market.

Not all altcoins are going to disappear but I have no doubt that we are about to witness the death of many altcoins, I will not miss any of those coins that are completely useless but there are some good projects that may be caught in the crossfire and could disappear if there is no interest coming from the community, because I agree with what you say in your post, institutional investors are not going to take the risk of investing in an unknown altcoin, they are going to buy only bitcoin and at most some selected altcoins like ethereum and litecoin.
