It looks like some firms like Alipay are making steps towards improvement that will be positive for bitcoin. This adoption will allow more people to buy and sell with it, which should then increase its value.

I don't know how many countries will be willing to work with it though. South Korea seems quite willing, but I don't think Malaysia or Indonesia will have an easy time adopting the currency. They're still a bit confused about it I think. Some people over there tell me that the government has no idea about it. They'd probably want a way to tax it before allowing payments to be processed through it.

Because to my knowledge there are several countries in southeast asia that have not legalized bitcoin. And what is our endeavor for bitcoin in southeast asia to be legal like any other country (which has legalized bitcoin).
Will the impact be positive or negative?
I am one of the general population living in southeast asia nation, for sure for the present my nation is one of southeast asia nation that has not authorized crypto, but rather my nation does not disallow to have coin crypto and do exchange however regardless I seek after my nation future and other Southeast Asian nations sanction crypto in his nation, as it will positively make the crypto world considerably more grew once more.

For me, Bitcoin will be popular here in Southeast asia for next few years, but people here are starting to adapt it. There are already many local exchanges here, so there will be no problem at all for legalizing Bitcoin for every country.

I think it is somehow legal already. It is seems to be considered as scam because of different opinions and perceptions but Banks did not really changed their minds about it.
In the Philippines, Banks and remittances are accepting bitcoins. But no stores available. If there are some, totally not spending that much because acquiring and earning bitcoins is very hard these days. I would spent somehow but for important things only.

There’s always two side in everything. The postive impact which is always accompanied by the negativity. In positive side, payments can be done easier that makes work easier, faster and convenient. The negative one,  a fact that there are scammers and people who may use it for illegal acts,

Some countries accept BTC and some countries do not, so BTC exist not really stable. But I believe that in the next few years, BTC will be the common currency of the world,

in my country Indonesai bitcoin not yet legal but it is legitimate just used in investment but it should not be used for means of payment. I think it will not affect the price because everyone is still allowed to invest in crypto

I only know one country that has regulated Bitcoin in some way and that is Philippines. You can legally trade cryptocurrency here now and that there are legal exchanges that allows investors to invest in Bitcoin and some known cryptocurrency. I'm actually from the Philippines and I can say that the market here is great. Well, only a portion of our population here knows Bitcoin but it is being traded now in local stores and some machines here. I think in the near future, more and more countries will legalized Bitcoin.

South East Asia contributes big to the growth of bitcoin with increasing user base over the specific region. From my view majority of the countries located in that region hasn't made anything legal or illegal towards bitcoin usage. This serves as a neutral support and the same has caused increase in usage of bitcoin.

Sooner or later it will be happen that the bitcoin will be legal here in southeast asia it's not because bitcoin started here it's not a reason but the people who are vulnerable enough in bitcoin.

We can make a simple effort so bitcoin can be legalized especially in southeast asia. We can do a campaign by spreading the positive news bitcoin and telling us what our dive about the benefits of bitcoin so that more people who love and feel the benefits of bitcoin. The positive and negative effects of being given legal status to bitcoin are always there but these negative effects can be covered and prevented with the positive side of bitcoin. For example, we can prevent crime transactions through bitcoin by applying software that every bitcoin owner must go through if it wants to transact. It's one simple example even though its implementation is not necessarily successful.

I think if bitcoin is legalized it will have a positive effect, bitcoin can increase people's income, and also people can easily make payments with bitcoin, and the government can dance taxes from bitcoin ownership.

Majority in the Southeast countries has been patronizing with usage of bitcoin or crypto currency on the country. It just that it differs only in the implementation of each country and how strict it is to be used for the masses. It is good that we have been a positive look on crypto currency in our country too.

Legalization of Bitcoin or crypto currency digital transaction in Southeast Asia is still a big Question? with the China whom very critical on Bitcoin transaction, we never know when this will happen in the near future. The good news is Korea and Japan are more active on crytpo market would probably contribute to general acceptance of crypto by other countries yet, the issues on Regulation should be address first by these country.

Some of Southeast Asian countries do not ban Bitcoin but there is no corresponding regulation that's why they don't legalize yet, I hope in the couple of year they will legalize .

It makes sense to me as well for South East Asians to incorporate the use of Bitcoin as they become more and more aware of crypto because it will only benefit the people of those countries. Whether this will actually happen is a different story.

That's quite possible. Not sure when it's going to happen, but there are many factors which make me think that it's not far off. There are constant talks concerning it. There are more and more countries are accepting Bitcoin. I bet Southeast Asia doesn't want to lag behind, they're just looking for the most advantageous terms to legalize btc.
