What are the reasons you prefer investment in Bitcoin over other Cryptos?

I believe investments in Cryptos are the priority for beginners. But most people like Bitcoin since it’s obvious, so are you like that? And if so then what’s the reason for your investment? My reason is that the potential is huge in this as compared to some others, but I do know that higher amount is required to gain more.

In my case, I preferred other cryptos too. In crypto world, BTC is the most dominant and preferred coin but don't waste the opportunity and advantages that people can get in other altcoins.

Potential is always there that's why take an altcoins that is worth to put a shot.

Honestly in my long term experience in crypto world, altcoin trading is one of the reason why I gained decent numbers of BTC in general. Way better than putting money directly coming from fiat. People just need to enhanced their respective strategy to become a winning strategy.

Firstly that Bitcoin is the first coin, the largest and most popular amongst others, with a very high value beyond anything, I'm sure people will do it?
Secondly I do not really believe in some coins, the more it seems I'm sure there will be a lot of junk coins everywhere, coming between good reputation and coming soon after falling, thrown out by the pope after earning big profits.

I too get myself attached to bitcoin becausw of its great history when it comes to the market and value increase. We all know that holding is a great option aswell by holding it much more time.

Still I like to open in an new environment which I did so I work for some bounties to earn altcoins and see what could happend and it made me into marketing and stacks too.

Even so I love ethereum and bitcoin its easy transaction no hasel no fee. While bitcoin and ethereum is in my bitcoin software wallet which that is easy transaction.

In fact they are an opportunity to make quick profits and are an opportunity for all people. for example, you have 1 btc and you go to the altcoins section and search on some altcoin that will have some good news able to boost the price in 2X and if you find an altcoin that has good news able to boost the price you buy and sells when you have 2X profit. the altcoins have this advantage, but also have major drawbacks. Like you, I also like keeping my funds in BTC this is mainly due to the fact that it has more resistance to dips. Unlike altcoins that can dip 10-20% per day, it even goes down as low as 40% loss in a week. Now, that's outrageous. With bitcoin the are between 1-7 and that's more than enough time to tether my holdings. Altcoins are just too risky. It can go side ways, 100% up or 60% down.

Most Bitcoin is no longer as anonymous and people are tending to use XMR for commercial purposes as it is unregulated or can use XRP to pay for because the technology of ripple is being made by many banks apply

So, I guess almost everyone agrees that Bitcoin is rightly the preferred choice. But it is also pretty obvious that one got to keep eye on all the latest news in order to actually gain consistently. If we close our eyes completely and start thinking it will work then it will not. It can be used if it's a P2P transaction similar to the barter model. Sure, it's not that practical, but it still functions quite well if someone is making larger payments once in a while, such as for services rendered.

It may not be perfectly anonymous, but it's not easily traceable either. If you did something illegal with it, I'm sure they would go through the effort to find you without hesitation. But if there's no active reason to target you, they can't exactly go around trying to dig up who is behind every transaction. There's way to much data to swim through. That's why some people can use it to send money for small-medium transactions abroad and avoid having to claim it.

It is not really complicated to know why people prefer to invest in bitcoin than to invest in altcoins, most altcoins are either copies of another project or just useless coins created to enrich the developers and nothing more, so even if bitcoin is expensive and it cannot give you profits like an altcoin could, the profits you can get out of bitcoin are still incredible, just last year if you you bought in January of 2017 and sold in December of 2017 you could have gotten 20x your investment, do you know how long you would need to wait to get those kind of profits in real estate or stocks? You will never get those profits with stocks and you will be lucky to get those profits with real estate in 20 or 30 years.
