As we know, Cobra owns bitcoin.org. And as we know, Cobra has been showing signs of supporting Bitcoin Cash, aka BCash, lately, as seen on his tweets.

https://twitter.com/cobrabitcoin/status/940720368121188352

And this was tweeted conveniently during the transaction spam clusterfuck.

It's safe to believe that Ver is siphoning some Vermoney to Cobra. The next step is to of course, buy the bitcoin.org domain from Cobra. Cobra is anonymous and we don't really know his financial situation. It may be too tasty for him to pass a couple millions from Ver with no consequences for his reputation. While theymos is also anonymous, at least we know he is loaded and he isn't as easily bribed.

I predict Ver is going to buy bitcoin.org and redirect it to bitcoin.com or just remove anything that isn't BCash's clients in order to pump his altcoin.

bitcoin.org is co-owned by theymos and cobra and the source of the whole website is available on github and any change goes through a similar process as the changes to bitcoin. and it is not just one person making the decisions or merging the changes.

at the end of the day people need to realize that bitcoin.org, bitcoin.com,... are just websites which will have a certain level of centralization. bitcoin is the decentralized protocol that they need to understand and adopt and so far they have made the right choice regardless of all the propaganda of bitcoin.com

A bit sad how both of them are political cricket bats. I would prefer it if ownership was transferred to an elderly sage on a mountain who puts up one video on both croaking into the camera 'do your own research' and then slams his rough-hewn wooden door in the viewer's face.

I occasionally look at that Cobra bloke's tweets. Are we sure it isn't about fifteen different people using the same account? It's all over the joint.

Best of all is if both become quaint irrelevances. It's not as if you go and check android.com when you buy a phone.

If it is true Ver will buy bitcoin.org will definitely need a lot of money, I think it is less profitable, but there is still a chance ver will buy it

It is quite impossible to take over bitcoinorg as cobra is not the only owner of it. However, I think it is quite impossible for us to stop them from having certain level of manipulation over us, especially people who are new to the scene will definitely get mislead by these tweets. People should use their common sense to study a bit more about the situation to differentiate between right and wrong.

The twitter account of Cobra says he is the co-owner of bitcointalk.org as well alongside bitcoin.org. So if you are assuming that Theymos is loaded and can't be easily bribed, the same assumption goes for Cobra as well, since he co-owns the business with Theymos. I doubt Ver has any intention to buy bitcoin.org just as yet because it ain't gonna change the status and reputation of his altcoin in any way.

Cobra's tweets are not clearly signalling towards the BCH support. It's pretty complicated to understand his intention from a single tweet. But from the below tweets it's safe to understand he is heavily into BCH, probably invested or mined!

what if i told you that ver is already funded by the same group as blockstream. where the whole core/cash is jusst kardashian drama of trying to get people to fanboy either kloe or kylie. act as if they are different and they fight, where the underlying fact is that its just strengthening the central brand of kardashians.
DCG want brand bitcoin. and by making it into a 2 choice(single option) then it gives the false impression of choice.

after all.. tell me a proper independant full validating full archival node software that is not funded by the same group

its all a drama
Ver is playing the theymos mirror - forum moderator, mouthpiece
wright is playing the A Back mirror - 'i was involved in its creation'
jihan is playing the samson mow mirror - mining brainchchilds of asia

excuse the pun.. but both 2 sides of the same coin.

EG
get kloe to say she is a real kardashian.
get kylie to say "ill sue kloe because im the real kardashian'

in the end the family now own all trademarks and property of 'kardashian'

now shaking off the drama.. peoples mindset should be
no one owns brand bitcoin. like no one owns the dollar.
there is US dollar, canadian dollar

cores protocol - america
cash protocol - canada

and thats why i say
bitcoin cash network/coin
bitcoin core network/coin

yes i say the btc network is CORE as my subtle way to reverse psychology people out of thinking that core should own btc. because at the moment anything not core gets treated as not part of the network and needs to fork off. so hopefully by doing the rverse psychology of treating the network as core owned. people wake up and stop defending core as the owners. and thus let other teams come onboard to RE-decentralise the protocol upgrade and maintenance processes.

There is no longer the propaganda about Bitcoin.com. You need to understand that Bitcoin.com and Bitcoin.org are just a website. And Bitcoin is decentralized coins.

Cobra is anonymous for you and doesn't mean that no one knows him. Same for theymos, some people know his name.
If someone supporting a coin then why should this mean that he will obligatory throw away any relation with bitcoin?
Bcash chills hatin' BTC? That's their problem, for us it is a free money and i would like to see its price rising Wink

This stresses me a bit but on the other hand I don't believe contact would throw the community into such a commotion. Everyone is able and their choice to have other coins and have fun with them, him being into Bcash is not an issue if he doesn't sabotage Bitcoin.

I think even if he got it he would have to make it 100% clear he was not misleading anyone else that would open him up to financial ruin.

I can't decide on Roger Ver. He's a strange one.

I took a few minutes to read many tweets made by him and did not notice anything that indicates that he has tendencies to support BCH, The only things I noticed strange is this:

Bitcoin Cash has been integrated into @PurseIO. Very exciting news!

and This https://twitter.com/CobraBitcoinCsh is someone who is making some joke against the real Cobra

The language he's using and the fact that it's so easy to trigger him make him look similar to Roger. Birds of a feather, don't you think?
Roger should start asking if he wants to join the movement Wink

Jokes aside, I think that he would sell if the price was right but since BTC is a goldmine, it's a much better idea to hold everything for now. Not only the coins but also domains.

I can't decide on Roger Ver. He's a strange one.

Strange one? He's one of the worst entities in this space. He's trying to break the coin that fed him and made him the person who he is right now.

He and his crew of hired developers are raping Bitcoin's source code where they will soon turn BCash into a cheap Ethereum clone on top of that.

Roger Ver with his website misleads people into thinking they are buying Bitcoin, while they actually buy BCash. It's a shame that he owns such a powerful domain.

If you want to know more about his shady practices just use Google. Smiley

your missing the even bigger picture the bitcoin cash is just distractions. while your eyes are looking at an altcoin. your not reviewing bitcoin core code.

there have been core devs that have always wanted altcoins to win. Luke Jr loves him some merge mined coins. Gmax loves him some monero and zcash. pietre wuille loves him some atomic swaps.. they have all been saying bitcoins protocol is broke and unscalable and all want popl to us side srvices and hop people then exit holding altcoins when they settle out of LN. the whole kardashian drama of ver is just the social distraction while the core devs slide in their code into bitcoin core network which does not help true bitcoincoiners. but will make the fiat lovers salivate and orgasm at the prospects it will give them

what i do love is th propaganda that LN is needed to avoid bitcoin turning into server farms.. but guess what. peoples phone apps to buy coffee at starbucks are not going to run full bitcoin nodes to monitor onchain broadcasts. so LN will be for coffee lovers, using light wallets which dont verify the blackchain. which then connect and trust servers to monitor the onchain broadcasts..

I have an investment in Decred, does that strongly suggest that I want it to "win"? That is a stupid debate that only morons would believe.

The same as wallet apps and SPV wallets that are in use today?

Plus good to hear that you are for the running of non-mining full nodes.

People like Ver are no longer relevant to the bitcoin because they have long abandoned the real bitcoin to have their own altcoin. How would you buy bitcoin.org and advertise something other than BTC?
