Hi! I am going to publish a bounty program soon for an ICO. I would like to heard some Tricks & Tips from experience bounty programme developers, publishers and maintainers. Cheers! Use google forms to record data on a spreadsheet to organize your bounty participant lists. Avoid hiring too much participants. It's much better to have a quality campaign. Don't encourage spams. You might also want to look into opening bounty campaigns which pays in BTC and not with the token. BTC paying campaigns tends to attract more good promoter and usually get more attention compared to token-paying ones.

Preventing multiple people from participating multiple times is a tedious task. You can consider adding some restrictions, such as bitcointalk activity must reach a certain value. wish you success.

I would recommend to hire experienced bounty manager, yahoo for example. He will do his job professionally, while you can make some mistakes because you don't have prior experience in creation of bounty campaigns. Also, name of good nanager can attract more participants to bounty campaign, while people may avoid campaign managed by newbie because they afraid to be scammed. You might also want to look into opening bounty campaigns which pays in BTC and not with the token. BTC paying campaigns tends to attract more good promoter and usually get more attention compared to token-paying ones.
Good point, but effective signature campaign requires serious budget if you're paying in BTC. While if you are paying in tokens you can make it from thin air for bounty campaign.

I would recommend to hire experienced bounty manager
Hiring a manager seems like an awesome idea but what bothers me is that this way you, probably, won't learn how to do things yourself. I'm also curious about the issue OP mentioned and it would be really helpful if someone could explain a bit more, what are the functions of bounty manager? Basically, he's gonna control the whole thing in all the social media and all the participants? That seems like a lot of work for just one person..

Good Bounty program required good and reiable bounty manager, like Yahoo for example. But if u want to do it yourself, do your own investigation on recent successful bounties.

Thank you for your input everyone. We are going to have a different kind of bounty programme, something truly outstanding and effective. To keep you all updates this is how far we have come:
*We got the ICO website 85% done (It looks beautiful, road map is realistic and sensible, the problem has been stated clearly, the solution has been provided, the eco-system has a great business model, many advisers we are consulting are already showing great interest to invest in the project and to publish their faces as advisers to the company, we will team up with the best ones.); *We just shot a promo video (You will see where we work, our office, our faces, our team and the most important info we want to give out to the entire crypto and [Suspicious link removed]munity.); *The whitepaper is in writing progress (It is the last thing we are going to publish, because when you have everything else in place the idea is clear and the whitepaper can be finished. This is because along the way of development all sorts of elements can change their shape.); *We have a working solution; *We have an experienced team on board with tons of great connections (I the co-founder and the CEO of the company have been in the crypto space since 2013 in all sorts of endeavours (trading, analysing, investing, shilling, mining, educating, developing. We have spent most time and resources into researching and investing in great ICO's in all kinds of industries. The experience we have gained has allowed us to develop a great model on what makes an ICO successful. Our team has been joined by other crypto enthusiasts (designers, miners, investors) and developers (experience with smart contracts and blockchain technology).); *We have a few extremely powerful ACE's to succeed, it is a destiny for the circumstances we are currently in. (hint: we have direct communication possibility to tons of potential ICO project investors and enthusiasts. Most importantly we have two massive cryptocurrency and [Suspicious link removed]panies as our neighbours to our office which is located in a business centre. We will have a talk with them about blockchain technology development and maybe something more.)

Hi! I am going to publish a bounty program soon for an ICO. I would like to heard some Tricks & Tips from experience bounty programme developers, publishers and maintainers. Cheers! If you have some projects that are worthwhile and you believe will be worth investing in, you contract it out to some bounty manager who may have better resources than you do while you focus on the project itself.

But if we talk about OP case - he aren't planning to become bounty manager, they only planning to launch bounty to promote their own ICO. So, they wont need this knowledge how to run bounty in future. I'm not sure how to become bounty manager, but well, everyone started from zero. It's not easy job. I heard that some managers have written bots to manage social media campaigns. But still, signature campaigns, translations and content campaigns requires to make manual reviews and check everything. As I know, some managers have assistant to make their job easier.

In addition to all those insights given, I'd like to add that timing of an ICO, project, and campaign is also crucial. Especially ICO and bounty Campaign. To be on the safe side, don't use all your funds allocated to marketing in one go, it's too much of a gamble and very promising projects learned this the hard way.

I think you should focus on multi registrations and avoid too many low rank members, yoı should hire someone for that. It would decrease the quality.

I'd suggest you to use social networks more instead of giving more bounties through signature campaign because Twitter, Telegram, Facebook and YouTube are 4 of the most powerful advertisement portals and if you manage to get quality users making high quality posts/videos and put it there, you'll definitely get great exposure, even far more than what you can get by advertising it at Bitcointalk alone. I'm not saying that this forum gets you nothing, but you should definitely focus on where you will be gaining bigger amount of audience from.

None of these are a worthy way to promote. There is an experiment on it. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5107674.0According to the experiment, only 3% of the total visitors come from facebook, twitter, signature bounty.

Still there is no any forum rules regarding management of bounty. We always encourage to manage spam free bounty on this forum. However I have made a threa on meta regarding bounty management. Hope it will help you to understand how to manage bounty fairly. Feel free to read Proposed guidelines for bounty managers . Few suggestions at below might help you more. 1. Don't accept any spammer on your signature campaign. Check their profile before accept them. 2. Try to use Google form to collect weekly report, it will help to keep your thread spam free. 3. Create self moderated thread so you can delete spam post yourself. Others you will find on my guidelines.

I am looking forward to organic and effective social media channels to get the message of our ICO project out in the crypto space. Additionally, we will be working on the SEO aspect of our ICO project.
