I think they come with them. I had not heard of serpcoins until I saw a few on ebay and started to search the forum. Just placed an order last night, will post some pics when they come in.

Yes, a set comes with the coin, an air-tite (with black insert), and the hologram.  And I always send extra holograms because they are easy to mess up with the security release they have.

Can I buy two coins? That's 0.07BTC including shipment to The Netherlands, correct? Or could you put the Silver Pin and the coins together?

I am having trouble getting the python script to run in ubuntu 13.04. I keep getting permission denied errors or it simply freezes on generating keys. Any ideas? Is there a html or windows version?

Hey Pistachio,

The freezes are usually because the ecda libs aren't installed for python.  I'm not sure on that version of ubuntu but you can try the following:

First try the following:
Code:
sudo apt-get install python-ecdsa

If that does not work then it must not be in the repositories in that version of ubuntu so try the following:
Code:
sudo apt-get install python-pip
sudo pip install ecdsa

If that doesn't work then try the following:
Code:
sudo apt-get install python-setuptools
sudo easy_install pip
sudo pip install ecdsa

Once you get that installed then just go into the serpcoin directory and type ./run.sh

If that does not work for you send me a message with the errors you are getting and we'll try to work it out.

Thanks, I am almost there. I now get permission denied when executing lines 12, 15, 18, 21, and 24. It completes the program but nothing is in the cache folder.

The only thing it needs to write to is the cache directory.  So maybe that didn't get writeable permission? or you are running it from a different user than you unzipped it from?

Try going into the serpcoin directory and typing:
Code:
chmod 777 cache

Then try running again.

Many thanks. I ended up installing Ubuntu 14.04 and it worked without a hitch. I will add some pics. These are nice looking coins for a very affordable price. The case and black ring is a nice touch.

Are you working on other denominations? These would be great for 1/10 btc coins.

Great, glad you got it working.  I'll need to look into older ubuntu installations to get those instructions more clear.

I'm in a constant state of considering lower denominations.  Hopefully at some point I'll have them.
